In the demo, when I knockdown someone, in the replay you could see blood, but the the finished game it is not there, was this taken out?

I've heard something about that. I don't know if it was removed intentionally or not but yes, it does appear that blood spray/spit/etc. doesn't show up during the knockdown replays.

Not digging the direction they chose for online. I mean not just one, but three achievements that only one person can get at a time, and less than 100 people total will unlock?!?!

Yeah, I like everything about the online other than that. Also, I thought Microsoft outlawed those sorts of achievements.

We should get quite a few guys in the DLC. I think EA said they're going to alternate between Fight Night and MMA...so I'm hoping that since we can download 25 boxers from the Boxer Share, we should be able to get quite a few guys. Probably guys from the past games as well as some new. I doubt we'll see the Klitschkos though. They'll probably throw in an older version of Foreman and Tyson too.

Just from the demo, I thought the joystick controls were wicked. It's not like they didn't work. It's not like this were Punch-Out and the only option were the horribly useless motion controls. So now, the all new control scheme you created is utterly useless because you caved into the whiners.

I ended up having to use the button controls in 3 because of how slow the stick controls were. However, they sped things up enough for 4 that there was no reason for buttons. Oh well, at least I can play offline still.

I like the TPC in FNR4, but I liked the buttons in Round 3. Not too sure if I can switch back to buttons, but I do like to know where my punches are going, and usually with the TPC I don't throw much left hand punches.

I'm glad they're bringing back the buttons. You cannot get the accuracy from flicking an analog stick that you can gat from pressing a button. A button is definate, whatever button you push, that's what punch youl throw. Now I can flick the stick in one direction and throw a punch, then throw what I think is the same punch but a different one will happen. It's all a matter of sensativity and how you deal with the analog. So what? The people who arent that good a flicking a stick and were good at the last 3 games should get ****ed because they're whiners?

Yes. Because that's what videogames, especially fighting games, are. Adapting, learning, and getting better. Everybody wants change, but nobody wants change.

Yes. Because that's what videogames, especially fighting games, are. Adapting, learning, and getting better. Everybody wants change, but nobody wants change. But when the adaptation comes at the risk of losing a majority of the fans of your franchise, maybe said adaptation wasn't what the franchise needed. History shows that you can make many good changes to a game, but trouble comes when you change the controls. If you're so good at the game, then it shouldn't matter what you play with.

If you're so good at the game, then it shouldn't matter what you play with. Then there's no reason to bring back buttons. Since if you're good, then you should be so good with the analogs.

If you're so good at the game, then it shouldn't matter what you play with. Then there's no reason to bring back buttons. Since if you're good, then you should be so good with the analogs. But before Rnd4 I had an option. I was good with the buttons as I was never big on the analog play though I was good at it. I bet no one would complain if we got the same awesome Rnd 4 with the buttons in to begin with. You make it like it's a cheat code or something. Some are good at one and some are good at the other. Why not give fans that choice? I was undefeated in all three FNs from using the buttons. But my first loss was a KO to someone who fought with the analog play. That's why I'm saying it shouldn't be a big deal if people play with the buttons. But when you take that option away, gamers feel like you've taken something away or are holding them back. If there is a franchise or series of games that I was good at and absolutely loved, and I sucked at the new one (I dont') JUST because they forced me to use completely new controls, I'd be a tad bit upset. I'm not dissing anyone. I just feel like we should have that choice unno?

Things change, and it's a change people should have just taken in stride. It's not broken. It works really, really well. I didn't have a problem at all with it. I suspect they'll end up implementing a filter anyways. Like how Mario Kart knows if you're using tilt steering, or in Space Invaders Extreme how you're not allowed to use the paddle controller. If I just wanted to press X and A to fight somebody, I would just play Street Fighter. The new play control is the reason Fight Night interested me. When having to play against people using the much easier button controls, I might as well just be playing Round 3 or Punch-Out.

It would be fine for us, but the people that bitched about the lack of it will bitch even harder for "gimped" button controls, and the response-time will be changed.
