Alright, so I've decided to get a discussion going on somebody we can all pretty much agree is a great wrestler, and everybody is a fan of. My question to you is, where do you see this heel turn of Chris Jericho's taking him? Basically, with the recent heel turn of Chris Jericho, I'm asking, do you feel this could be leading to maybe a near future feud with Triple H over the WWE title? Think about it. Orton is injured, they need somebody to step in as the number one heel on RAW. Cena and Triple H can only go on for a certain amount of time. Jericho's heel turn could be the beginning of his movement up the ladder as the man to take Orton's spot as the number one heel. This would give Jericho a push against a mega over Triple H, and they could have a good feud, and maybe even eventually give him the belt? They could even have him lose his IC title to Michaels or somebody at Night of Champions of even perhaps lose his title at GAB or maybe if they want to, maybe at Summerslam.
The flip side to this heel turn, the negative. The heel turn could just lead to right now a long term feud with HBK, possibly over the IC title, and eventually Jericho's feud will be over, and he'll get stuck in the midcard. Now this isn't necessarily a bad thing. A feud with HBK would be great, ala their feud around WM XIX. Especially with WWE rehasing old storylines, like Trips/Cena, Cena/JBL, I see HBK and Jericho possible feuding for a maybe a few more months.
So, what are your takes on this heel turn? Where do you see it taking Jericho? Main eventing, or a stationary stall in the midcard?
