Yeah, I love reading books. Well, not "love", but if I get into a book it's the ****. IMO, Catcher in the Rye is the greatest fiction book ever written. I suggest everybody read that before they die. Jericho's book is the greatest thing since the penis was created, I'm not going to lie. I did not find that book appealing at all. It just didn't do anything for me. I think Animal Farm is quite possibly the greatest fiction book of all time. It's how the world works. I love it. I agree that Catcher in the Rye was awful and that Animal Farm was great, I just don't think it was the greatest fiction book. Maybe 2nd or third, but not first. I'd have to say the best one for me was possibly Brave New World.

One of my favorite books is "Get in The Van: On The Road With Black Flag" by Henry Rollins. -CMD Best Rollins book IMO. What else of his have you read? I don't read as much as I would like to. I used to get through a book a month, but I'm currently reading "Please Kill Me: The Uncensored Oral History of Punk" by Legs McNeil and Gillian McCain. I also have "Unwelcome Songs" by Rollins. -CMD

I read all the time, I read any book about snakes that I can find, I love Anthony Kiedis's Scar Tissue, and i enjoyed Ric Flairs book, couldnt get into Hogans that much, I dont recall what the first sentance was, but it just gave me a vibe about the book and how it was going to seem like he would go on and on about him being so god like.

A Clockwork Orange is the best book ever written. The story is great, and the nadsat slang is very creative. Anthony Burgess is great...
That, or Hitch hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Brilliants stuff right there.
I read fairly often... Just re-read Watchmen recently... I'm going to either be starting I am Legend or the Zombie Survival Guide in the next couple of days.
I haven't read much else in a while... Last summer was full of reading... But I owe the Library a lot of money, so I can't go back there until I can afford to pay them... Technically, my roommate is supposed to. He told me he returned the stuff when he didn't, and told me he'd pay the fees... and hasn't... Oh well.

I'm also currently into the graphic novel "Locas: The Maggie and Hopey Stories (Love & Rockets)".

I love reading. I enjoy different autobiographies and memoirs, but I love me some fiction, too. I'm reading "A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius" right now.
Favorite book of all time is either Foley's "Have a Nice Day" or "1984" by George Orwell.

My favorite fiction book is currently "Shogun" by James Clavell.
As an entire series, Tad William's "Otherland" books really blows everything sci-fi I've read right out of the park, TBH.

When I was younger, I LOVED "Hatchet" By Gary Paulsen. Next wrestling books. So far I've read Ric Flair: TO BE THE MAN, A LION'S TALE, & THE ROCK SAYS........
Now, I don't like reading books.

I spend quite a bit of my time reading, the majority of books I own were written by Chuck Palahiuk, Chuck Klosterman or Hunter S. Thompson. To the cats that dug Fight Club, please check out Invisible Monsters, it takes a while to get going, but once it does it bypasses everything else Chuck has written.
I loved Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z, and Jericho's book was pretty damn entertaining. There is really nothing I can say about Hunter Thompson that hasn't been said, the man is a god.
I've got Get in the Van, but I haven't read it yet, its next in my "To read" pile, as soon as I finish "Chuck Klosterman IV", which I have around 40 pages left in I will start "Van".

Also, does anyone hate it when a book theya are reading is so intresting and then the ending is hhorrible? I was reading a book called the A list and it was so intresting throughout and then the ending is so sudden and terrible. I think the book could have easily have had another 50-100 pages in it.

The Giver comes to mind here. Animal Farms ending dissapointed me. I kept thinking snowball was gonna come back and get revenge on napoleon. I was wrong. Damn you, you bastard Napoleon! Poor Snowy Apparently, you missed the purpose of that book. Unless that was sarcasm. Which I think it kind of was. But... yeah. I loooooooooooved Catcher in the Rye, and I can't see how anyone would not like it. You must not relate to the idea of being alone to not enjoy that book. Anyone who likes that book should read Ordinary People. I am also a huge Chuck Palahniuk fan. I read Snuff straight through the first day I bought it (signed copy, pretty sweet), and I am currently starting Rant. I only have Rant and Survivor left to read all of his fiction books. I also agree that Invisible Monsters is his best with Fight Club second and Choke third. Last book I read was Stephen Colbert's I Am America, which was funny for the most part.

I know what the purpose was about. It was ssatire for what was going on at that time. Snowball was Trotsky and Napoleon was Stalin. Even though I knew it wasnt gonna happen, I was hoping for Snowball to come back and get revenge. I knew it wouldnt happen however.
