I spend quite a bit of my time reading, the majority of books I own were written by Chuck Palahiuk, Chuck Klosterman or Hunter S. Thompson. To the cats that dug Fight Club, please check out Invisible Monsters, it takes a while to get going, but once it does it bypasses everything else Chuck has written. I loved Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z, and Jericho's book was pretty damn entertaining. There is really nothing I can say about Hunter Thompson that hasn't been said, the man is a god. I've got Get in the Van, but I haven't read it yet, its next in my "To read" pile, as soon as I finish "Chuck Klosterman IV", which I have around 40 pages left in I will start "Van". I can't find that god damn World War Z anywhere. I don't wanna order it, but I'm going to have to I guess. Its worth it, but I think its out on paperback now, I got mine for X-mas right after it came out, but I'm pretty sure I saw a paperback version of it once.

Yeah, it's out on paperback, but I think it's just got a small circulation rate or something, because I've been to a few stores and none had it.

I tend to read wrestling books and books by comedians. The last 2 books I read were America (The Book) and Lewis Black's Nothing is Sacred. I'll also read any nonfiction by Anthony Bourdain.

You really should, well worth it. Hopefully they don't ruin it with the movie coming out.
I'm a HUGE Bret Easton Ellis fan. I'm currently reading Glamorama. American Psycho was a GREAT book (great movie too, but the book was better). Less Than Zero was a great book, shitty movie. Downey Jr couldn't even save it. The Informers was very good too, a bit weird. But I can get through his books pretty quick.
I'm also am a big JD Salinger fan.
I just finished "The Westies" which was a very interesting book. Fans of The Boondock Saints, or mob movies would really like it. I'm currently reading Glamorama (as I said), Inside Delta Force (which is incredibly interesting) and Water For Elephants (if you liked Carnivale on HBO, you'd like it). I always read several books at a time. I don't know why.

I've read plenty of wrestling books, and I agree that Jericho's is the best one I've read thus far. I've read both of Foley's non-wrestling books (the first two anyway), and his subject matter is too dark and depressing for me.
Aside from wrestling books, I have to recommend my favorite author, Tim Dorsey. He writes Florida based crime fiction, and his style has been described as "Carl Hiaasen on crack." All his books involve the same main character - the Robin Hood of career criminals - the lovable anti-hero, Serge A. Storms. All ten novels can be read on their own, or as part of one storyline chronology (aside from publication order). They are:
Triggerfish Twist, Florida Roadkill, Hammerhead Ranch Motel, Stingray Shuffle, Orange Crush, Cadillac Beach, Torpedo Juice, The Big Bamboo, Hurricane Punch, Atomic Lobster.
Not for young readers, but for the rest of you, check 'em out. You'll thank me.

Ah, can't believe I forgot World War Z.
WWZ is a superbly fantastic read, IMO. One of the best Z-fiction books out there. Very unnerving and haunting, yet strangely moving and emotionally charged.
IMO, the real horror of WWZ was that it honestly gave off a "this is how the world will react if a zombie outbreak occurs" aura, and did it better than just about any over Z-fiction book I've ever read.

Yeah, it's out on paperback, but I think it's just got a small circulation rate or something, because I've been to a few stores and none had it. It's like $10 on Amazon, I know you said that you didn't want to order it, but honestly this is worth it. It's easily one of my all time favorite books. I was looking through my books to see if I had anything else that was interesting and I came upon Crooked Little Vein, I can't take too much credit for finding this, seeing how as Doomrider mentioned it in a post a while back and because of that I checked it out, but if you think reading a twisted little tale about a Private Eye trying to find the real Constitution so the Government can be re-started sounds fun I would suggest checking it out ASAP.

Friend of mine was telling me how he just finished the Count of Monte Cristo. Almost made me want to read it again. It was a very good book about revenge.

I try to read books as much as I can. If it's not a book, then it's usually a magazine.
