So I finished up Ultimate Armor Wars and it was pretty awesome, I do kinda wish it was maybe a few issues longer because it felt a little rushed towards the end, but it didn't really take anything away from the comic.

I finished reading Vol. 1 of Powers, at first I felt it was really slow and I wasn't enjoying it that much but maybe by the 3rd or 4th issue it started to pick up and I was liking it more and more. I'll probably pick up Vol. 2 soon to see what is going to happen next.

It almost seems like it is Law and Order but with superheros, I'm not sure what happens in the next Volume but in the first one a superhero named Retro Girl is killed and the story is about 2 cops trying to find out who killed her so the other volumes could be like that but also it has more story to it like you find out something about one of the detectives that is pretty interesting which kept me reading (its a pretty big spoiler but it's pretty cool too: You find out the guy cop was actually a superhero who lost his powers suddenly so I have a feeling that they are going to do more with that in the future which could turn out cool.)

Nice, but if you plan to check out single back issues of the comic be careful because when I was first turned onto it the guy who runs my comic shop started me on the wrong arc of Powers so it wasn't truly issue #1 and in the few first pages you see a guy who could be a semi-main character in Powers die.

Ok so it took me a little while but I've finished up Ennis run of Punisher Max. For some reason I went on a binge of reading them lately and finished the last 3 book in the past 2 days (finished 4 and 5 today.) And now I'll just give a summary of what I thought of each story and there will probably be spoilers so don't read the rest of it if you haven't finished these books yet and plan too: The Slavers: Wasn't a bad story, I really liked seeing the cops trying to finally take Punisher down. Barracuda: Pretty good, I liked seeing Punisher have this like ultimate enemy who wouldn't stop going after him. Man of Stone: I liked how they brought the Man of Stone back because I was wishing they did more with him in the Mother Russia story and I'm glad there was a conclusion to the Rawlins story. Widowmaker: It was ok, I liked seeing what happened to the families of the people Punisher killed but it seemed to be more focused on the wives and Jenny than Punisher but the ending was good. Long Cold Dark: Loved this story, it sucked that Chaykin left by the 2nd issue of this story because I loved his art and when Parlov came in it felt too cartoony and less real. But having Barracuda back was pretty awesome and seeing that Punisher had a kid blew my mind and I was sad when he left her behind. And finally Valley Forge, Valley Forge: Another pretty great story, I liked the idea of having an enemy the Punisher couldn't shoot at, and I'm glad there was finally a finale to what happened in the story Mother Russia with the corrupt military guys. Overall it was an amazing story, Ennis is a ing fantastic writer and I love the Punisher now more than I ever had before. I am sad that it is over but at least I still have Aaron's run of PunisherMAX to keep looking forward to.

I finished up Kick Ass, which was pretty good. I had read the first 4 issues, but the delay killed my momentum, so I bought the TPB. I wonder how much of the story the movie will change.
Also read Rage of the Red Lanterns to prep for Blackest Night eventually being on TPB.
And read Battle for the Cowel. I have to confess, I was a little disappointed with that series.
Re-reading Final Crisis now.

Captain America Reborn is over and now the new series begins. Just read the last of Reborn and the first of the new series. Looks like this is going to tie into Siege a bit.
Star Wars Legacy continues to be a favorite of mine. Things are picking up right now. Cade is really being tested. His drug issues and use of the dark side continues.

Volume 1 of Chew. I've been wanting to read this comic ever since they had a preview for it in the back of a Walking Dead issue so I really hyped this comic up for myself and it didn't disappoint and it was actually better than I thought it was going to be. To sum that all up I just love this comic. I love the art, I love the writing, I love the characters, and I love the story. The ending pretty much blew my mind and I really can't wait for the next volume to come out to see where this story is going to go and what is going to happen in the next volume. Now I have to decide what to watch next, either Powers Vol. 2 or Fables Vol. 2.

just read the punisher butterfly oneshot...i'm fairly dissapointed just because the comic didn't focus around frank at all, and i didn't see it's purpose as a oneshot...it wasn't bad but i didn't buy it for the 'butterfly hitman's story. still a compelling enough read though.

Finished Powers vol. 2, it was pretty good but really short I mean it didn't even have chapter breaks. The whole story around this one was there are people who are roleplaying as their favorite heroes and someone is killing them. It had a really good surprise ending which really makes me want to read vol. 3 but I think I'll hold off until I read Fables vol. 2.

Not really reading but I watched the Watchmen Motion Comic book. I watched it before watching the Ultimate Cut of the movie. First time seeing the movie and I thought it was ok. The ultimate cut was a little long for me, and I was disappointed with the movie ending. I had read the graphic novel a while ago. The motion comic book was kind of neat.

just read punisher max 5 and WOW it just keeps getting better and better. punisher's battle with that religious zealot was ing epic, especially with how it ended with him passing out right beside him, remembering how he'd forgotten his son's birthday. aaron knows how to write castle. and the indepth look at the complex psychopathic mind of the kingpin is fantastic, showing how he was willing to sacrifice his son, and in that way to some degree he is killing the boy he was as a child. vanessa is done perfectly too, she just fits really oddly well. and now...bullseye!

just finished volume 1-3 of the gift. ing loved it, great concept and great individual stories. i didn't overly enjoy the last volume where lucifer surfaces as a bullied child, but the artwork and quality of the stories stayed consistant throughout.

I am working through the trades of the current Justice League of America. Just finished the Lightning Saga, which I thoroughly enjoyed the second time.
