I'm up to Invincible 52, and ever since 29, it has been ing incredible. It kinda pissed me off that Invincible only comes out once a month because the issue that just came out and started a new arc was such a tease and I really don't want to wait another month.

Now that I am completely caught up, I agree with this. Grayson vs Conquest II should be sick. Even sicker, a potential Nolan vs Conquest

I have a feeling whoever fights Conquest is just going to be ing amazing. What really sucked is the wait during the Conquest arc because when you see that (spoilers: Atom Eve) may have died which bummed me out for a whole month because I love that character.

Read all of The Runaways book 1, Brian K. Vaughn is such a ing awesome writer, I didn't think I would get really into this book but in one sitting I read around 10 issues because I love how he writes so much and couldn't stop reading. I kinda feel like the last few issues (17-18) felt maybe a little rushed and I felt like the twist at the end was pretty predictable. I may check out the next book if I can find it but I'm not too sure since I don't think Vaughn does much writing of Runaways after this book and I wasn't a fan of what happened to a character I liked at the end, it just felt kinda lame.

Can any of you recommend Haunt? I was perusing the trade today, but I wanted some opinions on it first before I buy it, and my friend who I usually consult with hasn't read it.

I enjoy Haunt, it kinda starts out slow with the first issue but it does pick up. The story is pretty neat, it feels kinda common but I like the mystery of what is happening.
I wish the issues would come out faster since the next issue comes out at the end of this month, which sucks.

Finished Vol. 3 of Fables. It was pretty good, it was different than the other 2 volumes because this had a few different stories than one story that lasts the whole book which was a neat change. The first story was a good little story about Jack Horner and his role in the civil war. The second story was longer and was about this guy finding out about who the Fables actually were and it was pretty good. The third story was the longest and was probably the best, I really liked the twists and what happened to some of the characters. There was one more story after the third one, I didn't really care for it but it was bad.
I also checked out War of the Supermen 0 and 1 after seeing that Joe liked them. I haven't read an actually Superman story in a long time and these were interesting, I liked how in 0 they fill people in on what was happening in the Superman universe. Issue 1 was pretty good too, and the ending was a huge shock, and I think I'll keep reading this story and see where it goes.

just finished 'area 10' and WOW was it good. i haven't read a good crime comic in quite some time, and this one was fantastic. i won't get into the plot because everyone should check this out for themselves, but the way they portrayed the main protagonist and then showed how you were perceiving him how he saw himself, only to have it slowly show 'reality' by showing other people's opinions on him and what is actually occurring - very much argues about reality and what defines it. here's a cool pic from it: the book has a lot to do with trepidation, which is kinda odd cause it keeps coming up in various forms of media i've been reading recently.

I just finished Sweet Tooth, Volume One: Out of the Deep Woods.
Wow. Superbly written and drawn and has characters that you can get behind that will elicit an emotional response when something happens in the story. Jeff Lemire has created two very likable and interesting characters in Sweet Tooth and Jepperd and I can't wait to see where the story goes after the excellent climax of the first arc.
If I had to compare it to something... I'd say it's very much like The Road meets Y: The Last Man.

just finished sentry: fallen sun. i'm not gonna say too much cause i don't wanna spoil siege 4 for people, but it was a pretty good story with really different artwork. not a necessary read by any means though.

I think the cover does a well enough job of spoiling Siege anyway, haha.

true enough...i predicted sentry doing what he did though, i just hope it's not permanent. he's actually one of my favourite marvel characters if written properly.

read new avengers: luke cage 2. damn good story of luke discovering a serious heroin problem and tries to take it down. he ends up winding into some old enemies...it's a good book and luke cage is a great character, his chemistry with his jones is fantastic as ever (first time i really noticed how well these two are written together is when their baby went missing in the skrull invasion) and the story has definite direction. it's no cage max though. read punisher 7, and my god are they ever writing bullseye perfectly! such a psychotic creep to the furthest extent, he's becoming obsessed with castle...and the stories of his past! gassing an entire school of kids for being witnesses? also, the relationship between that doctor and frank is great, feels real when reading. the way the doctor encapsulates frank's struggle and his paradoxs, such as that he fights for his wife when he cannot even recall her voice, or that he believes they were happy when they were together after the war even though, as the doctor put it, "though frank's tour of duty was up and he was there, in the house, sleeping right next to her...i think she was still waiting for him to come home. and something tells me, even if that woman was alive today...she'd still be waiting." ING AMAZING STORYTELLING AND WRITING, BEST BOOK GOING CURRENTLY

*Some Siege spoilers ahead* Finished up the final issues that had to deal with Siege, Siege 4 was pretty good, I was really surprised about Loki dieing and I can't wait to see what happens to him and seeing Sentry go wasn't a big surprise to me and I can't wait to see what is going to happen next. And Also after finishing up Embedded and Initiative I read Sentry Fallen Sun which after the other good books was kind of a let down. It was mostly about a few characters just talking about the good things that Sentry did which was kinda weird since it seemed like he wasn't the best of people. Finally I read New Avengers finale which was pretty great, one thing I really loved about this issue was the 5 or so pages of a double spread of artwork of different times in the Avengers history. And one more thing not to do with anything Marvel I finished up Fables Vol. 4 which was really ing good.
