I really want to read Y. Along with Michael Kupperman's work, which I find ingeniously funny.

I was in my basement and found a box of comics I haven't touched in years, which was mostly full of old GI Joe issues. Well I dug through it and found Batman/Spawn. So I'm reading that.

Just got done with Kingdom Come. Figured I'd give it a second chance before I throw it out. Even worse than I remembered.
Gonna go give 100 Bullets Vol. 1 a buy. I hear great things about it.

Interesting. You are one of the first people I know who have hated it. How do you feel about Earth X? That is one that is usually hotly debated. Anyway, right now I am reading, well, pretty much everything. I picked up my box yesterday, so I am catching up on Secret Invasion, Final Crisis,, Batman R.I.P., and several others.

Yeah, I've never actually seen anyone else speak badly of the book, which always makes me feel odd for not liking it. Other than the art (which is obviously beyond amazing) the story just didn't do much for me. Partly because I'm a hardass when it comes to critiquing comics and partly because I admittedly know only the basics of the DC Universe, outside of Batman comics, and was fairly confused throughout both readings by the massive amount of characters in it who lacked characterization. I'm assuming the book is far more enjoyable for those more familiar with the DCU. As far as Earth X goes, I've never read it. Do you personally think it's any good?

If you aren't familiar with anyone in DC other than the Trinity, then yeah, I could see you not enjoying it.
I actually like Earth X. It's a very different book, and it is a LONG book. But it really puts things in a different perspective. People usually love it or hate it. I oddly find myself a little more centered.

Y was great. It started to slip towards the end, but the ending was excellent.
