The most recent JSA is definitely one of my favorites.
I have been on a tear lately.
Just finished:
Walking Dead 1-86 Brightest Day Superman: Red Son Batman: Year One Batman: Return of Bruce Wayne Batman: Bruce Wayne the Road Home Batman and Robin 1-21 Batman Inc 1-7 Infestation
Now for the next few weeks I have on my reading list:
Tales of Suspense 39-99 Iron Man 1-332 Captain America 100-454

Just finished up my second go around with Batman: Haunted Knights. Been looking for it for like 2 years, so wanted to really sit down and enjoy it.

Just ordered tec comics #400. Pretty valuable in mint condition. In the mean time ive started reading Spawn #1 and some old batman comics from the 80s, 440-443. Just re-read Y The Last Man #1 and def going to have to pick up the volumes that were released, seems like an awesome story. Read some old x-files comics as well from the 90s and the more recent 6 part that Wildstorm put out.

surprisingly great start and concept behind it. writing is of course sub par as the entire 2099 series is.

Shadowland made me drop Daredevil. That was a really good book for a long time.

Shadowland was ing terrible. The new Daredevil series with Mark Waid is pretty good though, especially since they haven't mentioned Shadowland at all.

Just finished Jonathan Hickman's Secret Warriors and it was amazing, it's crazy how he connected everything in the story, I really can't wait to check out more of Hickman's stuff now because he is so good.

Just finished up the Punisher:Max series. Jason Aaron continues to rock my world. right on man, doesn't get better. and mukau: i REALLY suggest checking out the nightly news by jonothan hickman. it's one of his original workings and it's just utterly fantastic. as for shadowland, i feel it failed so hard because it had so much promise to be a great direction. daredevil joining the hand and 'turning heel'? a man of the law realizing that the law has failed him and will continue to do so? the story could've been absolutely phenominal but they filled it up with too much bullcrap and not near enough character analysis, presentation, and growth. hell, daredevil hardly speaks throughout it, luke cage does most of the talking in the series.. i still like the general style of the art for it, though.

I think the fact that they made it where Daredevil was possessed instead of acting on his own, was really the biggest letdown.
But also that there was a surpsing lack of actual Daredevil in it, and hardly any development on him, and very little time devoted to the "epic showdown."
You got more development of Silver Sable, Misty Knight, and the new power man kid.

yea, those misty knight tie ins were so completely unneeded, it was painful.
