Started and finished the Marvel Secret Invasion . It was pretty good I'll probably re-read it though.

I just finished Criminals deluxe HC vol 2, aside from the printing error it was a solid read.
I tried to finish the Invisible omnibus but I couldn't, will try again in the future
Im currently reading X-men Fatal attractions omnibus, I had X men 25 and wolverine 75 in my youth, would be good to read the entire series in 1 go

Wolverine and the x-men paperback #1-7. Very impressed. Characters in it are excellent especially Broo, Kid Omega and Kid Gladiator.

after quite a lengthy time without really delving into the comic world, with distractions subsiding, i've recently returned and to my delight there are a lot of new great titles. some of what i've been reading is:
- saga. epic, should certainly be considered for a major film. up to #7. love the tv men...just an overall excellent title that i think most could find interest in.
- ex machina. read the whole run quickly, loved it but the concept wore on me by the end along with the flash writing style. still strong stuff.
- planetoid. read the 5 issue run, great little action movie that takes the road warrior base character and twists him up in lots of interesting ways. another one i could see as film. i plan to show a few of my friends this title
- the manhattan projects. can hickman do nothing wrong? just amazing storytelling, compelling artwork and very real characters. my favourite title as of yet since my return to reading.
- dancer. on #3/4. great anti hero burnout story that has been the base of a lot of great comics in the last few years, was similar to brubaker's action mysteries.
- ten grand #1. classic movie style story intro, interested to see where this one goes. looks like it'll be deep into the occult, on par with max payne 1.
as you can see, i've become pretty much an Image guy. just great titles that take small risks that seriously pay off. the author also just seems closer to the reader when you know the artist owns his project. excited to find new titles and i can't say i miss marvel and dc's main titles yet.

I just went on a little shopping spree. Let me try to remember what I picked up:
Guardians of the Galaxy #1 (new one) Daredevil #1 (whatever new one is, heard good things) Spider-man #700 Green Lantern #21 (had heard #20 was a fantastic one-shot, store I was at sold out) JLI Annual #1
I know I also got what I think was the last Hellblazer before the New 52 switch a a few others. I bought a lot of some Secret Six and a few others from eBay that I am waiting to arrive.

The Dark Knight returns, the first part of the books art is just horribly bad it pretty much gives me a eye strain. I flipped through the pages to see if the art improved and it did. But im not sure how somebody can say this is the best Batman title with this plain old ugly art. Just terrible, that one guys comic on here has better art then these pro's (I get that its an old story) but hell Stan Lee's Amazing Fantasy 15 had better art than this ugly crap.

Hawkeye, just yes, 1,000 times yes. My favorite superhero and his comic is brilliant, I'm very glad it is great. Also Matt Fraction is a genius, I picked up the New Fantastic Four series as well and wow is that amazing too. Conclusion, go out and get Hawkeye and Fantastic Four while you're at it.

The art in that book is horrendous. It's a good story though. The art is just horrible, but apparently it's not popular to say so. I've been reading a lot of the mid-80s series of Punisher.
