I was flipping through some of the old threads from nearly 3 years ago and I realized that this board used to have A LOT of promising, young bookers.
I think this board needs to merge with the text fed board... there simply isn't a community like there used to be back in 05.

It's fairly simple to do well in fantasy booking.
You DO NOT have to write 50 pages like I do. That's the common mis-conception certain bookers have of me. They feel that I only like super detailed feds when it is not the case at all. I loved Jake's RCW and he wrote a paragraph or two for his matches.
I'd be willing to read some rookie's shows and help them out.

Anyways I thought I tried to put some more on over summer but the lack of attention any thread gets on here and the lack of time here really just doesnt help. It is a shame cause this could be fun if it started getting back to the good days of 2/3 years ago |

I'm not playing the young obnoxious kid in all this, but I know that WCWA is a grand fed. What I can't get my head around is how bad your show was in December last year, posted DIRECTLY on the text fed board. After that it was arguments with 305: MIA and then dissing off of the text fedding board despite you posting a show in there several months earlier.
I just don't know what he thinks...this way or this way etc.
FYI, I'd give this fantasy lark a try but I'd end up doing a maximum of eleven pages for one PPV show.

I tried to get god knows how many people to write here they didn't. I tried getting people interested, they wasn't. I have spoke to Jack about taking my mod spot off me because I know I don't deserve it now and I don't want it to be honest. I have spoken to him about doing something about this board like merging it but he hasn't said nothing. We need to get some people interested that will actually write. I am not interested anymore as I do not have the time to do it now. I really hope this board gets back to its best but I can't see it happening anytime soon.

D, don't be so hard on yourself. This board should really be merged with the Text Feds though, and I have brought that up with Jack, as has DWC and a few other people to no avail. So until something happens, Im thankful to WCWA who continually posts shows. And to anyone who post shows on a frequent basis that I seem to be forgetting.....hehe. As for the merger, I guess I will talk to Zeke and K-Bar about it, but I doubt they will be to thrilled. |

I know Zeke and K-Bar. they're great people to talk to. They'll accept probably. And I know DCW that tried to revive this board, along with me myself, to no avail. Thing was though, I had too much to do, but I am trying to get into the fedding [text and fantasy] mind again.

On Topic, I don't think that would work very well. Nowadays, people grow and they go to work. All I am really saying is People Don't have Time to write. I wish it was still 2004 or 2005 Text Fed/Fantasy Era.

Yeah I just think that the newbs to the board think that the shows have to be too long. They figure- why take all the time in the world to write out shows when you could do it in like 25% of the time at the Text Fed or Sims board?
