The scheduled card for the January 4, 2008 New Japan Tokyo Dome event that will feature TNA talent to be edited down to a one-hour special on Spike TV is as follows:
- IWGP Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Shinsuke Nakamura - TNA World Champion Kurt Angle vs. Yuji Nagata for Angle's IWGP title - IWGP Tag Team Champions Giant Bernard (aka A-Train) & Travis Tomko vs. The Steiners - IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Wataru Inoue vs. Christopher Daniels - Manabu Nakanishi vs. Abyss - Togi Makabe & Toru Yano vs. Team 3D - Hirooki Goto vs. Great Muta - Milano Connection AT, Minoru & Prince Devitt vs. Christian Cage, AJ Styles & Petey Williams ---------------------------------------------------------------------- It sucks that we won't get the whole show, but this is still great news because I didn't expect any of it to air.

They'll just show the matches with TNA talent in them.

Some may have assumed they'd see clips of the entire card because of the main post. They showed the entire card as opposed to just the TNA matches.

If Nakamura were on US TV, everyone would go nuts.

If Nakamura were on US TV, everyone would go nuts. I wouldn't. But Muta and Goto....that's a different story.

Why not just have Tanahashi vs. Angle so we can finally be rid of the fake IWGP title?

Why not just have Tanahashi vs. Angle so we can finally be rid of the fake IWGP title? ...That's what Nagata/Angle is for. Nagata's beating him for it than unifying it with the winner of Tanahashi and Nakamura's IWGP Title.

Everyone will jizz over Nakamura much like how everyone jizzes over Misawa.

Why not just have Tanahashi vs. Angle so we can finally be rid of the fake IWGP title? Tanahashi vs. Angle main eventing a TNA PPV would be incredible... I doubt anyone in TNA managment would have the balls to book it even though it'd probably draw more (from the smark community) than any past-their-primer TNA has signed.

Yeah, so it can have a shitastic ending like Tana/Styles did. NJPW wouldn't let their Heavyweight Champion work TNA, especially considering how TNA's buried everyone they've sent over and how they don't want to risk their champion to that kind of BS.

I'm surprised to hear they will actually air some of this. I still believe that a majority of people will have zero idea about who any of the japanese wrestlers are.
