Dynamite is the Koloff of this series. I was TOTALLY looking forward to him, however, he looks nothing like who it is suppose to look like. Really bad scan.
Although, I think Dynamites scan is better than what Koloffs was. Koloffs was aweful.
Will get Atlas (I was hoping for him as Saba Simba, that would have been a cool figure if done right). Simmons and Dynamite will also be pickups for me as well as possibly the Mysterio. Depending how he looks MOC.

Incredible set, that Rey is out of this world and Sandman is incredible.
I'll be getting Sandman and Rey because they're perfect, there's no room in CWF for old timers though I'm afraid =/

Dynamite are all screwed up...Dynamite was never that jacked. You're kidding right? Dynamite was pretty much always jacked . Here are my opinions: Dynamite Kid - UGH! I've been waiting for this figure since the Classic line started and I'm thoroughly disappointed! The tights need to be more marroon and the head scan is really bad. Sandman - decent figure, but something is off about it Tony Atlas - good figure, the head scan is awesome The Rock - decent figure but we've seen it a lot now, they could have at least given us one with the Samoan tattoos. I'll be pissed if Jakks gives him wrist tape again! Ron Simmons - pretty good figure but he's too dark I think Rey Mysterio - ok figure Ric Flair - I like it, I've been wanting to see a Flair in this attire. I just hope they don't change the torso. John Cena (LJN Style) - Ugh. No thanks. I don't like the LJN style figures but this one of the worst ones so far.

well this is a 'meh' set in my opinion. the only ones i 'need' from a standpoint of not already having a figure of them, are Tony Atlas and Dynamite Kid.
so overall, this won't be a must need set for me to go out and find

blah sprang to my mind upon first viewing and again whenever i look at them, i will get this one or CS19 but i was really hoping for Corp Champ, this is a big let down. The rest are a waste imo, especially Flair, Rey & Sandman.

I'm glad a few more people know who Ron Simmons is, I said the figure looked way too dark on the first page and someone said something about MVP and Layla being the only black people with lighter skin. Black people aren't literally black and white people aren't completely white, everyone is a different shade of brown with people of all tones regardless of race. Jakks make this mistake far too often, they make anyone who's not white really really dark and they make most white people too light. Most white wrestlers (especially in the 80s) were/are so tanned that they are a very similar or identical skin tone to many black wrestlers. Ron Simmons is not that dark and if the figure ends up being lighter than the proto it will be a superb figure, the scan and part choices and attire all look great but the skin tone makes it look like a different person.

With the excetion of the ripped SHW torso (ripped CW would have been better) I don't see why there's so much hate for the Dynamite Kid figure. As far as the scan goes they nailed it. As soon as I saw the face I knew it was Dynamite before I scrolled down to see the rest of the figure. Hell you can search the net right now and see many of pics where he looks just like that. Attire I wanted him in the WMIII white tights with the union Jack on the back or WMII (?)blue tighs...but he wore red quite a bit so I can deal with it. And going back to the torso - looking at the proto I'd guess Jakks went with the SHW toso, because they scaled the head wrong and it would look too large on the ripped CW torso. It looks perfect on the ripped SHW torso. (It looked so good that I thought the torso was the ripped CW at first until I took a closer look at the veins on the chest) So to me the figure is a Homerun.
I said it yesterday and I'll say it again today...Dynamite is like the CS11 Rick Steiner as it's a beautiful looking proto standing by itself, but once you put him on the shelf he'll look too big. (Steiner was never as big as the Anvil and Dynamite was never as large as Orndorff) But Jakks has never gotten the scale right in the CS line (Studd, Taker & Managers come to mind) or the RA line (until recently Rey's arms were always larger than Big Show's) So why would this be any different now.

Sometimes I think the people on this board defending horrible lines like these must be the figuremakers at Jakks because seriously......this has to be the worst CS line yet. These are bloody aweful scans, the only one that I might get is the Sandman because there may never be another one released. It's almost as if Jakks is trying to piss off the WWE collectors now. I hope Jakks pulls their act together before they start making the TNA figs or I will not be collecting that line. I already see from the UFC protos they will be f'ing that line up too (Brock and Liddell body proportion/skinny legs look ridiculous). If you can't do it right Jakks just quit. You have made some kick ass figs in the past (like the exclusive Khali) so I know you have it in you. Collectors want to see more detail in these figures. Just my two cents.

Only definites for me so far are Ric Flair, Ron Simmons, and Tony Atlas. I really like Dynamite Kid, but may wait for a two-pack of the British Bulldogs that will likely be released. I may also get The Rock if it is different enough from CS 19. I wish Mysterio was better, but it just his current style mask and torso with tights instead of pants.
I've been happy with Jakks work as of late and have been getting almost every figure in recent CS lines, but there isn't much to this series.

One more thing...from a business standpoint, you could probably be making alot more money from these figures if you put a little more heart into your work (detail) also, there are plenty of new guys that need to be made and guys that could be in the CS line that are passed over because you insist on releasing crappy repaints of the same boring ass figures.

Ron Simmons is not that dark and if the figure ends up being lighter than the proto it will be a superb figure, the scan and part choices and attire all look great but the skin tone makes it look like a different person. That was me. Believe me, I know full well about the range of skin color for people of African descent, and I certainly never said Layla and MVP were the only light-skinned black people. Simmons figure is a little dark, but I guess I am sensitive to people on here constantly freaking out when a figure is dark. To use your example, people hardly ever complain when a white wrestler's figure is too light. And to further challenge your point, even an extremely tanned white person's skin looks different from the natural melanin in a black person's skin, no matter how light. I concede that the Simmons figure is a touch dark, but not "looks like a different person" dark. I feel like people overreact to figures with dark skin in a way I find a little depressing. No worries though, I think we just misunderstood each other.
