I still play Smackdown 5 HCTP
Backstages is something I miss alot in the new games. Like time limit hardcore match.

You can't go wrong with most of them. Theres the obvious ones people will say like Wrestlemania or No Mercy. WCW/nWo Revenge is a must have just for the fact that there are so many legends and classic superstars and guys from japan on that game. Hogan,Savage,Sting, Nash, Hall, Piper. the list is amazingly endless with talent. It helps that it has the best game play around. Some compare it to Day of Reckoning but I can't really say that since I never played that. Personally I enjoyed WCW Mayhem but most people seem to hate it. Don't even mother with Nitro thats a cluster  . Warzone is a favorite of mine. If you're a fan of the attitude Era then Attitude is a must but its pretty much the same game as Warzone and personally I never got into it. WCW vs nWo World Tour isn't a terrible game but it isn't on the level of Revenge or No Mercy as far as enjoyable game play is concerned. I mean the games are pretty cheap now so you can 'gamble' with them all. Personally the must have for me is Revenge. But again, you can't go wrong with most of them. |

In my opinion, No Mercy was a good game, but only had one AMAZING feature: the ability to modify superstars. Apart from that, its pretty average. I hated the story mode where people constantly interfered.
I'm going to say Attitude, seeing as its roster owned and the story mode and unlockables were pretty cool.

WM 2000 was my favorite by far until...(like everyone else picked) No Mercy came out for 64...those games are so much fun to play and some of the gameplay cracks me up
