Use Mozilla Firefox instead of Internet Explorer. Download an "add-on" thats called Unplug. (its a little green fish icon) when you're on youtube, just click the fish and it will give you a list of download links. Usually the first one will be the video. Youtube videos come in .FLV format. Once you get it downloaded go to mediaconvert.com and change it from .FLV to .MPG/.WMV or whatever you use

Vdownloader is easy as it downloads and converts into whatever file type you want it all at once.

vixy.netI swear by it. Just copy and paste the URL snd you can download video or just the song. No downloading of software needed.
