I remember a show like this being aired on Sky One here in the UK about 10 years ago, it claimed that "the kid who gets his sign torn up by the heel is a plant and actually gets a slice of pizza and a ride home with the wrestler, there's always an old woman sat at ring side who gets pushed over by the heel but secretly she's wearing knee and elbow pads to protect her" and other absurd things like this. It was the same show..

"you didn't think they really brought all those signs from home, did you?"
What a condescending idiot. Of course the fans bring the signs themselves. I'm surprised they didn't claim that the fans are all hired by the booker too.

Oh man, that was hilarious. Pure Wrestlecrap at it's best. The worst was the stunt granny planted in the crowd. In all of my 23+ years of watching wrestling, I have NEVER once seen a stunt granny that was planted in the crowd in any wrestling event that I've seen. What a bunch of crap that was. You've never seen a stunt granny??? WCW used them all the time. Hell Hollywood Hogan would always get into an argument with one

I always wondered if any of the wrestlers or booker in this doc were anyone we may know, or just some no names.

Is the narrator the same guy that played Salem the cat on Sabrina The Teenage Witch?

They make the talent seem like diabolical mad scientists trying to take over the world. Do you hear this guy? "The fans think its real, but they dont know the secret tricks" Its not magic for christ sake. It bothers mw because non fans wathc this ad think they know the biz inside and out. Curse ths f'n one sided doc! And is it me or did they make it look a bit extra fake for the sake of "exposing" the fakeness to begin with.

Is the narrator the same guy that played Salem the cat on Sabrina The Teenage Witch? Yes. I watched it when it first aired back in 1998 it was actually on the same time Sunday Night Heat was.. and i recently saw it again on MYTV network.. very hilarious. Obviously the things they say are true but are blown way out of proportion or are a bit falsified. Signs given out to the crowd have happened before, but they make it seem like no one really brings signs themselves and every fan is just given them..
