According to Dave Meltzer he blew out his knee on Monday. Nothing else is known at this time.

He will still keep going and put on average or above average matches, because Kurt Angle is a badass.
He needs to take time off though. It's a shame TNA wouldn't survive anymore without him, because he needs several surgeries. Imagine Angle taking a full year off, getting surgeries where it was needed, rest and relaxation, and rehab/working out. He could return as an absolute monster and then put on one hell of a return match.

How is it that when Kurt Angle gets injured "he's breaking down" yet when Shawn Michaels or 'Taker gets injured it's "oh, tough break". He's a wrestler - no craphe's going to get hurt.. |

How is it that when Kurt Angle gets injured "he's breaking down" yet when Shawn Michaels or 'Taker gets injured it's "oh, tough break". He's a wrestler - no **** he's going to get hurt.. Has Taker and Shawn had injuries one after another, no. Angle has, he needs to take time off, heal up, and come back. Taker takes time off every year to nurse injuries. |

They've been keeping him off house shows even though he wants to work 'em. Kurt's not breaking down he's just getting hurt. Should he take him off? Yes. But, you can't make a guy take him off if he doesn't want to. |

The only reason Angle is still wrestling at the moment in TNA is, they need him, simply put. Angle has a few good matches with TNA here and there, not many of those matches compare with his WWE matches, Kurt is in better shape right now in TNA, than if he was still in WWE, if he was still in WWE, he'd probably have suffored even worser injuries. Consider TNA lucky Angle hasn't gotten seriously injured. Taker takes time off a year to have a break, the last real injury he has was his quad back in 07. Michaels' last injury was in 07 aswell, since Taker and Shawn are older wrestlers, they need time off, because if they went non stop like they did back in the 90's, they would have gotten hurt. Angle need's to take time off, to spend time with his family, heal up any aggrivating injuries, and replenish himself in a way.

I'm starting to think TNA wants Angle to die in the ring so they can get a 1.3 Rating..

I love how when Angle left WWE, he told vince he needed "time off to heal", but he didn't. He went right to TNA.
