I warn you now... this is pretty big.... but if you can read it, please do, as i think its would be a pretty good storyline.
Right as many of you are probably aware, Kane isn't really so much of a monster now, instead he is just a regular guy who is a bit tall and a bit ugly... and i hate that cos i love Kane... so here is my idea / storyline to get Kane to become a monster again
Right, so its the N.O.C and Kane is on fire, the match is filled with near falls from Kane, however just as soon as it looks like he is going to win... BAM, Kane gets attacked and beaten for the title by either Mark Henry or Big Show.
So N.O.C is over and Kane is angry at his title loss, he is booked in a match with Randy Orton, and again, just as it looks like he is going to win, out of the blue Orton hits the RKO and gets the win... Now over the next month, Kane has a losing streak amongst the main eventers, then over the next two months, Kane has a losing streak amongst the mid-carders which is picked up on by the announcers, who keep mentioning that Kane hasn't won a match since before Night of Champions.
Anyway, three months have passed since N.O.C and Kane is called into Vince's office, once there, Vince tells him that he finds this losing streak to be a disgrace to the WWE (or something along those lines) and once the rant is over, Kane is given an ultimatum that if he cannot beat his mystery opponent in the ring tonight, he will be indefinitely suspended... So later tonight, Kane is in the ring awaiting his opponent who is none other than Hornswoggle. Onto the match and Kane is completely dominating... in fact he is toying him until eventually the referee is knocked down. Once the ref is down, Finlay comes into the ring and knocks Kane out with the Shillelagh, puts Hornswoggle on Kane and revives the ref...and its over, Kane loses but instead of Hornswoggle's music, Vince's is heard and he comes out, belittles Kane, telling him that he couldn't even beat 'the bastard midget son of an Irishman' and inevitably tells Kane that he is suspended indefinitely.
Later in the night it cuts to a scene with Kane walking out of the building carrying his bags when suddenly Kane drops the bags and starts throwing and smashing everything in sight whilst questioning why he cannot win anymore... anyway, the lights start flickering and go out... when they come back on, The Undertaker is in front of Kane and he begins to belittle and berate Kane, telling him that 'he has become weak' and tells him the reason he has been on a losing streak, he says something along the lines of 'You've become normal Kane, people don't fear you, people don't run from you because you are not a monster anymore, you just a regular human'. Also in this, Taker refers to the eulogy that Kane gave Taker after burying him alive in 2003, he says 'I listened Kane, i realized that you were right, i had become mortal and weak... so i turned to the dark side and took back my place on top of this business, and here you are now... a weak, pathetic shell of a monster... and you know what, I despise you and dis-own you as a brother'. The scene ends with Taker walking away and with Kane having a horrified look on his face. The next RAW, it is announced that Kane is officially suspended indefinitely.
Now, months pass and there is no sign of Kane, until suddenly a random match is interrupted and they show a video package much like the ones that Taker had when he was returning as the deadman... the video starts off not showing Kane, but instead a flaming background with some phrase or words on there referring to madness or fire or something... something like 'From the ashes of man, rises the fires of the monster'... and then suddenly it cuts to a scary scene (like a boiler-room with bits on fire) and it is shot with a dark, grainy, red light effect. This scene shows Kane either sitting somewhere with his back to the camera, or some other way to obscure parts of him (most importantly his face). In this he cuts a promo about how he has become human and weak and that he needs to feel feared again, the the video ends with flames exploding on the stage. (If your finding it hard to picture what i mean, think of Undertakers 2004 return video's crossed with Abyss's mental hospital videos... but with more red and fire references). Anyway, as months pass, the video's continue in the same manor, but as they continue, Kane sounds more mad and more focused on 'burning' his weaknesses and 'igniting' the monster inside (thus more focused on fire).
Months have passed and the main event of RAW is Finlay vs Undertaker (who had been drafted there btw)... anyway, just as the match is about to finish, the arena goes red and one of Kane's videos plays... however, this one seems longer and seems to focus more on how he is nearly become a monster again... (this next bit is in blue for a reason, I'll explain why below) As the video is coming to an end, Kane says something like this 'over the years, the burns have faded, and the scars have left, leading me to remove the mask of the fire... but i will shroud my face once again, not to hide the marks of the flames, but to hide the last shreds of my humanity from the world' and as soon as he has said it, the camera pans to a fiery explosion with a mask in front of it... and Kane's hand is seen dragging it off screen as he laughs... and the the video stops... and Finlay looks confused whilst Taker looks anxious... then the arena goes black and the organ intro to Kane's old theme plays then there is an explosion on stage and with either his old theme or a new scarier theme based on his original follows. Kane enters the arena in a fitter condition (hell he's had a while off to get back in shape) wearing a new attire which is the same has his previous attire, but now singlet top which carries on the red stitching on top of the dull / glossy black (this may or may not also have bits hanging off it, as if they've been burnt / ripped... but they might look like tassels). He also has the fingerless gloves on both hands, but also his old cuff on each wrist and he is wearing a full face mask in the same design as the top / tights... He enters the ring and attacks heinously attacks Finlay (who caused him to get suspended), then he comes face to face with The Undertaker and it can go either two ways here (depending on who he is to feud with). Either he completely beats down Taker and starts a feud with him where Kane is the heel and Taker is the face... or he just does the in-ring turnbuckle explosion taunt as a sort of monstrous 'thank you' to Taker for making him a monster again, then he goes and beats down Finlay / Hornswoggle some more, leading to the two of them feuding with Kane as the heel... (this alliance with Taker could turn Taker heel too).
If my calculations are right... this should take around 7-8 months to happen (depending on how long there is no sign of Kane)... this would be just in time for before Wrestlemania... which could lead to the first match between Kane / Finlay or Kane / Taker
Anyway, thats my idea and I'm sticking to it. So tell me what you think
*The reason some of it is in blue is because that is what would happen if Kane was to get the mask back... I know some people don't think Kane should regain the mask as we already have established what he looks like without it (even though I've explained that he isn't hiding scars of flames, but 'scars of humanity') so if you wouldn't want a masked Kane... just ignore the bits in blue
