They didn't. He did win the WCW Cruiserweight Title as Syxx, though.

You mean there's more than one Sean Waltman?

He also won a bag of money from Razor Ramon back in the day!

This is not totally on topic but, does anyone else feel Sean Waltman is extremely overrated?

This is not totally on topic but, does anyone else feel Sean Waltman is extremely overrated? I don't know if I would call him overrated. I can't find anyone that likes him in the first place.

I would argue that Waltman in the mid-90s was actually underrated, especially his lengthy feud with Razor Ramon at the time.
Although, it's still fun watching Hall treat him like a baby in the infamous Crybaby match.

This is not totally on topic but, does anyone else feel Sean Waltman is extremely overrated? When he made his debut I would say he was underrated. But now that so many guys have used his style and improved upon it, he does seem a bit over rated. At the time though he was pretty original.

Everyone loved him when he was X-Pac, first starting in DX. Then when he turned heel no one would ever cheer him, even when they tried to make him a face. Waltman is still talented, no one gives credit to him anymore though

People tend to forget that Waltman came about when wrestling was dominated by 'roid freaks. Seeing a 150 lb guy in a WWF ring was unheard of in the early 90s. I think he opened the door for alot of smaller wrestlers to come after that. Like it or not.

This is not totally on topic but, does anyone else feel Sean Waltman is extremely overrated? i always enjoyed him as the 1-2-3 kid, and his whole rebellion of the wwf by joining wcw and being in the nwo was pretty cool, but overall i've never really enjoyed x-pac. his one notifiable match in my head i can think of is his matches against owen and bret.

This is not totally on topic but, does anyone else feel Sean Waltman is extremely overrated? Nah, he was a damn fine wrestler when he was starting out, but he just slowly got worse when he went to WCW and back to WWE. He could still put on a pretty good match with the right opponent.

I liked him best as the Lightning Kid. I believe he had a feud with Jerry Lynn at that point. I may be mistaken though..

Then when he turned heel no one would ever cheer him, even when they tried to make him a face. Yeah, it all went downhill from there. People started to have a legitimate hatred for him. He was a good wrestler though. <3 his match with Owen at KOTR94.

The Bret Hart match on Raw was actually awesome and you never see a match like that anymore on TV. So many near falls and a false finish are great devices every once and a while...

He also won a bag of money from Razor Ramon back in the day! He didn't win it he stole it. When he was the 123 Kid he was alright. I know my cousin was a huge mark for him. But he never stayed on one organization long enough to become someone. He just kept bouncing back and forth.

I liked him best as the Lightning Kid. I believe he had a feud with Jerry Lynn at that point. I may be mistaken though.. He did indeed feud with Jerry Lynn as The Lightning Kid in the GWF in the early 90's. When he came to the WWF he still had his "L. Kid" tights with lightning bolts all over them.
