People seem to have really enjoyed iMPACT! over the past 3 weeks and the direction of things looks good. The Nash/Joe angle has been built up well, iMPACT! has had longer matches, The Knockouts continue to be booked great and with the World X Cup there has been renewed life in the X Division.
So is TNA starting to turn things around or what ? I am intrested in what most of you think.

Yeah, slowly. There's a few things that would help it a lot, like getting rid of the Macho gimmick for Lethal. It got him really over, I say end it already. Most of the show I enjoy though. The commentary needs over haul for me, I'll give then Tenay despite how much he gets on my nerves, as long as West goes.

I say yes and no. Their shows have been more enjoyable lately, but something is still missing, something just isn't there that I feel should be. I really can't put my finger on it, but it's like that feeling you get when you move from one house to another, kind of the feeling that you forgot something.

TNA has always been good. Though I liked the time with Team Canada, 3LK and Jarrett better...

Their quality is slightly turning around, but popularity isn't. Honestly, I think TNA dug too deep of a hole to ever climb back in terms of PPV buyrates & ratings. Yes, things like merchandise and house show revenue can go up, but I really don't think buyrates and ratings will ever go up that much. Most people aren't willing to give TNA another chance, and rightfully so for the most part. Even the WWE product sucks, they have a lot of loyal fans that will always watch and buy the shows. TNA has very little of these and has lost a lot of them over the years.

No. Every time they look like they are, after two weeks of good shows, we get a bad one, and then it goes into another downward spiral. Plus, Joe's title reign hasn't been that great.

They've always been good.. Why am I not surprised you'd be the only one to say that. Odds are you got on a 2nd account just to vote that they have always been good again. It's been decent. The world X cup has really got me watching, but I'm sure after that it will go downhill again. If Jeff Jarrett ever comes back though, I'll gladly watch TNA again. Hell, he is the only reason I watched WCW in 99-01.

I give TNA credit for bringing in foreign talent and allowing them decent ring time, but they're still failing to push the X-division. Where is Petey Williams? Ya know, the X-division Champion? When he's not acting like Scott Steiner's little butt buddy he's nowhere to be found. What happens when the foreign guys leave and the X-division is once again Eric Young, Curryman, and Sharkboy?
Another problem with TNA... they put titles on guys and have them immediately overshadowed by feuds going on in the same division. Joe is being overshadowed by Angle/AJ. Petey is being overshadowed by Dutt/Lethal. LAX is being overshadowed by Team 3D and the World X Cup.
Why isn't Joe being promoted as a bad ass? Why isn't the X-division title in the middle of the Lethal/Dutt feud if they're not gonna showcase Petey Williams? Why are the tag titles collecting dust on a barely promoted LAX/Roode-Storm feud if MCMG are so hot right now? TNA is still failing to capitalize on certain guys and bring order and consistency to their product. The only way to do that is to make the titles, not the main event wrestlers, the focal point on which to build storylines.

"Pizza Party" is the other one who said "To me they've always been good". Go figure, you couldn't reply to this thread without a mention of me.

i really dont know,i was so into tna was d'amore is booking, but not longer after joe vs angle (1st time) things really went downhill for me,and i have not liked it since at all.....but its still better than the 'e'. just now its going through a better 'phase' if that makes sense, lets face it,it had to at some point. but i know the things i would like to see are not popular, but it would make me really get into it again
i.e turn samoa joe into an ivan drago like super heel, where he beats faces cleanly and is proper bad ass/heartless. kinda like how he was when he giving people a pasting after his matches. or just make him more of a tweener.
bring in the briscoes.
get rid of the knockouts.(dont enjoy womens wrestling)
sack the dead weight (open to interpatation lol)
bring back the more enjoyable, violent and heel rhino from the ECW days.
change the damn set in the impact zone
lose the comedy
repackage eric young into a mid 90's owen hart style heel,he would play that perfectly
create a new title for a midcarder,it has to be done and helps the development of the wrestlers, roode needs a title bad imo

TNA has been better than WWE for a long time now, at least for my enjoyment. The only thing that is still bothersome to me is how the X Division is still not par to the other divisions of the company.
