I got the same letter when I wrote to them asking them to use the DA mold and NEVER use the RA mold. Oh well.

Of course they will give a generic response do you really think they will take the time to type of personalized letters to everybody?.

Too bad, I was hyped for a response of the scale of the figs, but blur out your address, you don't know what kind of people look at this forum.

This reminds me of that one scene in Shawshank Redemption where the city council finally awarded him library books after he wrote them a letter every week for a couple of years. The line was something like "Thank you for your interest. We now consider the matter closed. Please stop mailing us."

It wasn't email. It was real mail. But i'll try not to listen to th haters. Atleast there is a survey that they have made available to let our voices be heard to save our scale. it was probably so you'd stop emailing them :-P

I got the same letter when I wrote to them asking them to use the DA mold and NEVER use the RA mold. Oh well. Why dont you just ask them to lose their asses on wrestling figures....RAs sell plain and simple. If Jakks or Mattel uses a strict DA body style for WWE figures they will lose a lot of consumers...Its not a smart business decision

That letter so just means, "Stop writing us, we don't care about your damn opinions." Believe me Nap I am completely on your side the scale is very important to me as well. So much so that I promise that I will absolutely send a letter, but realistically there is someone there making six figures that will make the final decision and our opinions will do little if anything to sway him.

Well i think your a bit off there. NOw i know that letter doesnt mean that they took it into consideration. But it doesnte mean piss off you are usless either. It more or less means, you sent somthing and its company policiy to have the secretary respond in a timly fassion with somthing. Now it could be on the desk of the mattell guys so who knows. All i know was that it was not long after i sent in letters from fans along with my own draft and they put up the intensive mattell survay on wf. All i can ask is that my voice be heard.

In layman's terms:
"We appreciate your interest in our product, especially to the point that you would go to the trouble as to post letters to us. However, we're hardly going to alter our plans or dimensions for our upcoming products just to suit the needs of a few letter-writers. We plan to do what we have done with our past lines, which is doing what WE think is best to cater to the mass-market, who largely do not post on the Internet about their toy-buying.
Thanks anyway, though!"
I can't blame them though, to be honest. It's nice that they replied by post really. Jakks probably wouldn't.

Cool, I didn't think any of these companies responded to anyone. i don't think that's really a "response" tho...it looks like a standard form letter that some secretary there has a drawer full of, then when they get letters they just type the return address from the envelope & date on top & mail it out....they wouldn't even have to open the envelope the guy sent them to send that back. it was worth a shot to write them i guess, but i think it's pretty much wasted effort.

Bit late replying to this but I only just saw the topic! So... I emailed naparo my letter and he mailed it (regular post i mean) to mattel for me. but i never got any reply from mattel. it had my address on it. yeah like you say, pretty generic, "thank you for sending us a letter, which we may or may not have read, hope this generic pre-made reply will shut you up" I probably said before, but I know everyone who cares about keeping the jakks scale appriciates all your efforts naparo
