Fantastic news! It's always great to hear when a state has unbanned MMA.

Thats good for TN, & I'll bet they get a freaking UFC show before Chicago. Sorry, I'm just a little bitter.

Of course it should be unbanned in every state, but it's best to celebrate victories like this because that's a sure sign that MMA is progressively being seen as a "real" sport deserving of all the privileges and prestige that other sports get.
It's still a victory, so I'll celebrate it as such. New York seems to be the last clear bastion of anti-MMA legislation, as it's the only one I've heard of that so consistently refuses to unban MMA.
Although it's something repeated a lot of times, I hope New York follows suit and unbans MMA. Not only because New York is a lucrative market, but because it would set an impressive precedent given that New York is one of the most important states in the US. If NY passes legislation to legalize MMA, I think a lot of others will follow suit.
But, until that day, I'll celebrate MMA being sanctioned no matter where it is.

Well, Ontario might be the last place ever to unban it. The head cheese for the Ontario gov't is so against MMA, it's not funny. After seeing all the money and attention it brought to Montreal, you'd think Ontario would jump on it. They'd easily fill the skydome for a UFC event.
