of the constant gimmick matches in TNA?
There must of been at least 4-5 gimmick matches on iMPACT alone.
It's serious overkill.

Before I clicked on this post I had a feeling that this was what it would be about. Ok, this past impact, I thought the gimmcik matches were appropriate because it's for the holiday seson. Honestly, I dont have a problem with them when they coincide with sesonal events. I thought the briefcase thing was a cool idea but I think they mislead people and they need to stop that. That poor bait and switch tactics and only makes people ticked off at you and not wanna trust what you say. TNA is known for their gimmcik matches, some good(ultimate x), and some bad(elevation X). I dont have a problem with it as long as they make sense and are done occasionally.
WHat I am sick of is the lask of importnce on the titles...when's the x, tag, and womens titles gonna be defended again?

Yes, and I'll add a few more to that list. I'm sick to death of:
- Black Reign, Judas Mesias, Eric Young, Team 3D, Rellik, Don West, Mike Tenay, Kevin Nash, and Booker T - TNA's lack of structured divisions, the X-division in particular - TNA's overuse of comedy which leaves little room for drama necessary for feud building - Storylines that seem to continue forever (Roode/Brooks, Abyss/Mitchell/Monsters, 3D/MCMG) - the tag titles never being defended against two active, mobile wrestlers - and finally, TNA's lack of character development for those whose characters haven't already been properly developed in WWE, WCW, or ECW

I'd say TNA has definitely lost touch in what matches need gimmicks. I mean, some matches are so good on paper, the gimmick only corrodes what could have been a stellar no-frill having match. I mean, if you don't consider a texas death match a gimmick, Sacrifice back in May was the last TNA PPV that had not a one gimmick bout Want a completely gimmick-less PPV from TNA, gotta go back to November of '06 with Genesis. I'm pretty sure NO DQs and other gimmicks can slide, but TNA has managed to not make one card that didn't have a cage match, ultimate x matches, table matches, monsters ball matches, and a plethora of others that do nothing to scope out how incredible the chemistry might be with the involved participants.

Yeah I'm sick of it. I swear, TNA is a walking stereotype of Vince Russo. Meaningless belts, bait and switch, and gimmick matches.

I don't mind this past Impact because it was a theme. But it is so ing annoying that we get an Abyss gimmick match every PPV. It's really enough already. At least something like a ladder or cage match is good. But it's annoying when they invent their own matches. Next is a pinata on a pole match and they'll have someone dress up as Jerry Lawler to call the match.

Just thought this was pretty funny, sort of fits in... TWO AND A HALF BOOKERMEN is a hilarious sitcom centered around a freewheeling alleged Christian, Vince Russo, whose carefree and shoot-filled lifestyle is interrupted when his newly widowed boss, Jeff Jarrett, moves in, along with Jeff's buddy Dutch Mantell. Russo and Mantell form an "unsuspecting bond" with each other as they book a wrestling show, becoming TV's original odd couple, except they are the opposite of original and instead are just a diluted version of everything you've seen before. The only place on TV where you'll find four hours of content crammed into two hours, with almost ten minutes of wrestling matches! Credit: Wrestlecrap I think you guys get the point.

I didn't really mind as it was a holiday show. I enjoyed all the matches.

I'm bout sick of Abyss vs the Islnd of misfit toys every week and brooks/Roode. Freakin do something with them already. Black reign's gimmick doesnt work because he's more Black reign then Dustin, it should fluctuate back and forth, even in and out of matches...and get rid of the rat and that gawd awful costume. Who's Booker T feuding with now, wasnt it with Christian? It's all a clusterfreak, again! They need to just sit down and hash otut about 3 months of storylines, use them then do somemore writing...it's getting chaotic, yet I still watch becasue sometimes they put on a decent show, but yeah, they need some fresh feuds injected in there.

I'm sick to death of: - Black Reign, Judas Mesias, Eric Young, Team 3D, Rellik, Don West, Mike Tenay, Kevin Nash, Booker T, and Kurt Angle- TNA's lack of structured divisions, the X-division in particular - TNA's overuse of comedy which leaves little room for drama necessary for feud building - Storylines that seem to continue forever (Roode/Brooks, Abyss/Mitchell/Monsters, 3D/MCMG) - the tag titles never being defended against two active, mobile wrestlers - and finally, TNA's lack of character development for those whose characters haven't already been properly developed in WWE, WCW, or ECW Thats better. But basiclly TNA is falling apart. I loved it in like 2004-2005 because they actually used there own homegrown talent. Instead they use WWE trash.

I'm not a wwe or tna hater, i like both because both were different. I loved the x division, and that a company had a steady tag division with teams that match, worked tandom and mattered, and TNA blew both of those up, all so that they can over use old wwe guys...i dont mind what they are doing with Nash, he adds a bit of color, but i dont need angle ever 5 min, i love angle but dont do the whole show about him... Christian they are using correctly, and i like the way they are developing AJ's personality but mis using his ability...samoa joe, i just dont care about, i think thats the problem is people are starting not to care as much... lets face it i dont care if team 3d takes on the entire x division....or what big poppa pump is doing.... they need to back to their roots a bit
