Circus Maximus 2008
We are just a few weeks away from the biggest show of the summer for the LWA and that is Circus Maximus. Over the years this event has brought out the craziest that the LWA has to offer and this year is shaping up to be no different. Here is what you have to look forward to for this year’s event,
Submission Squad vs. Bearded Men/Ego Express (8 man elimination street fight)
A 2 year feud comes to a bitter end at Circus Maximus and what started as a feud that has since turned personal off camera for LWA star Pierre Abernathy and Adam Raw has now turned personal between LWA star K.C. Karrington and Submission Squad member Davey Vega. After striking KCs manager and off camera girlfriend Tiffany Lafane Davey has took this whole feud to a whole new level and at Circus Maximus this will be settled once and for all.
LWA Championship Match: Shorty Biggs vs. Donovan Ruddick
Former LWA champion Shorty Biggs has informed the LWA offices that he will be using his rematch clause at Circus Maximus. Shorty has not been seen on camera for the LWA since May 3rd as he has been off training for this huge rematch. The Don Mega however will have his hands full as the LWA resident monster has been on a roll. Ruddick has defended the title against all members of the Bearded Men and he has not just won those matches but has knocked out every person he has faced. Will Shorty regain glory or will he be the next victim on Ruddicks path of destruction?
Billy McNeil vs. Shimmer Champion Ms. Chif
An old rivalry comes back to life as the LWA will welcome back Ms. Chif and give an extended hello to returning star Billy McNeil. These two are no strangers to one and other squaring off in the defunct GCW on several occasions these two are very excited and ready to get back in the ring with one and other. This is bound to be a great match with two old enemies.
LWA Medallion Match: Jordan Lacey vs. Jeremy Wyatt
After coming up short in his out of control last man standing match for the LWA title Lacey is bound to win the gold. He instead of working his way back to the top wants to take shorter road to the title. However that road will not be easy as he will take on LWA Medallion holder Jeremy Wyatt. Wyatt has been on a hot streak as of late wrestling and winning two great matches that lasted over 20 minutes a piece. Will Wyatt be able to out last Lacey or will the power of Jordan Lacey help him uptain Medallion gold?
Adam Raw vs. Nick Tyson
One more old rivalry comes to an end at Circus Maximus as two former LWA champions square off for what many believe will be the final time. This feud goes back to the beginning of the LWA as these two helped build what the LWA is today. Since then both men have moved on with the lifes and want to give the LWA fans one last match and that match will take place at Circus Maximus,
With all those great matches you would think that that would be all…You would be wrong as there are a few more matches signed for Circus Maximus. These matches will round out what is going to be a great card of action.
