For months, maybe even years members have constantly come here and complained about the board being dead. Wanting the so called "Glory Days" where the likes of PWF and FCW were around. Many have tried to restore this board to that point of time, but the same mistake was being made over and over. While it is good to respect those of the past and such, it is not needed for the board to be good again.
Although there has been some other members who have been trying to get this board going again, the one member who stands out is wwefan617. Who has constantly replied to shows, and have that positive attitude toward everything. This reason can be the difference in why this board will be successfully ressurected again, unlike previous attempts.
Today I got a chance to talk with wwefan617 in an interview, which is below.
Extreme:Aside of some shows you can still be viewed as in that "new commer" stage in pic fedding, what do you bring to the boards in your fed that others have not?
wwefan617: Well first off that’s a really good question which left me stumped when I first read it, but I think I know exactly what I bring in my fed. I think I bring a sense of dedication and care with my fed. I also feel as if I bring a high quality which is very unlikely in "baby feds". Most new feds start off crappy and then build up to be a good show. But I feel like I started pretty solid as a newcomer. I also bring great pictures which is a great part of my overall presentation which is my favorite part of pic fedding, the presentation. Good question
Extreme: What past feds motivated you to starting your own fed?
wwefan617: Oh wow umm feds like HLW, ROG, PWF, but most of all W3E really motivated me to start pic fedding. But more recent feds like BWF have also given me a push to make my fed just as good if not better than those feds which seems impossible lol
Extreme: The boards have been "dead" for awhile now, how do you plan on getting/helping resurect this board to its greatness?
wwefan617: Well with the support of people like deskjet and dyamez who are always dedicated much like me to pic fedding, I have been able to bring in more people by posting frequently and getting more people involved in pic fedding. So Im trying to relive the glory days which I was not around for. so I want to create my own glory days haha. So basically I’ll continue to post and make more shows and reply to more shows so people get excited about pic fedding
Extreme: If you could pick one fed to return to the boards, which would it be?
wwefan617: W3E... period
Extreme: 5. From your stand point, what would you consider a "success" in the pic fed boards?
wwefan617: Umm a success would have to be the recent spike in interest regarding pic feds. more people are getting into pic feds. and I think things are finally turning around (knock on wood) that is a huge success.
Extreme: If you could add/change one thing about the rules or the Pic Fed board itself, what would it be?
wwefan617:Lets see... one rule... you know I wish there was a way that you could track who did not reply to a show. I say if you watch a show you have to reply. that would be a rule I would add. once again a very good question
Extreme: What up and comming feds should other members look out for?
wwefan617: Oh wow there are a lot of feds I see as great competition one of them being MWFA. That guy scares me. He makes great shows and is probably my biggest challenge. And I love that feeling of competition. A very new fed I would say to watch out for is Joker's fed, FTW. I see some potential in him. he reminds me a lot of muleface (I know a lot of you remember him. Hasn’t been on in a while though
Extreme: I have seen in the past members have felt you would be a good mod, how do you feel about that?
wwefan617: I really want the mod spot badly. I feel I have made a big impact on the pic fed board because I care so much. it would be a sin not to give me the mod spot lol. but on a serious note I feel happy that people think I would be a good mod. you know I go to work and school in the morning and the first thing I do right after arriving home is go to the pic fed board on WF. Because I love pic fedding and I love the people on the board (mushy moment) lol. So Im flattered that people think I would be a good mod. I would love to be mod
Extreme: Your new show is set to air soon, what sould viewers expect?
wwefan617: I saw this question coming. The one thing people can expect is shorter but exciting matches with about 40 or 60 pics. They can also expect to see bigger pictures for all the blind people out there lol . But most of all they can expect amazing storylines. I bull **** you not. the storylines for this season are awesome. I don’t want to give away too much. You'll just have to wait until the 20th to view my show. =) I hope people reply and enjoy my shows because the fans of my show really keep me going and are the only true reason I make these shows
Extreme: What is one thing that non pic fedders should know about it?
wwefan617: Non pic fedders should know just how hard it is to make shows. they need to realize we don’t just pull shows out of our asses. there is a lot of work that goes into it. but.. fortunately I am ready to put in that work for all my viewers.
