Holy crap that belt is ugly.... though sadly enough it would probably get some higher ratings. I really don't like the TNA womens title either.

Considering it's a diva's title, I think it fits its purpose. I like it, I think it has a lot going on, but they are divas so it's not such a bad thing that it's girly.

I despise titles that aren't gold. I wouldn't go as far as saying I despise them - but I think all title belts should be gold.. That is why I don't think much of the ROH title - it looks second rate.. However this Divas Championship is basically a novelty belt, which is why it's so OTT in design.. More often than not, it's likely to be held by the Divas such as Maria, Michelle, Kelly, Cherry, and Maryse - those girls who most fans don't take seriously as wrestlers.. In essence, it's pretty much a secondary title, for the less skilled women in the company - while at the same time elevating the existing Women's Championship which is seen as more valid, 'cos it's on the 'A' show, and is mostly reserved for the legit women wrestlers.. It's also a good marketing ploy, because they'll inevitably make a toy replica of it - and by making it look as girly and sparkly as possible, the young female fans will most likely want one, and snap them up.. |

Wow. I mean, it looks like a cool design for a shirt or a poster, but a wrestling title belt should not look like that in my opinion. Then again, HHH is still carrying around a wigged out WWE title so I guess it doesnt even mattere anymore lol.

RAW will always be the 'A' show, regardless of who's on it.. and Punk is currently the champion of the 'A' show - which makes him an 'A' brand star.. Also, Michelle is the most over Diva on SD - it's pretty obvious she's getting the belt.. |
