JAZZ - Don't know what Jakks problem with her was.

Zac Gowan
Heart Throbs
The Kat - Apparently the Kat's proto was going to be shown at ToyFair 2000/2001 (or something like that), but the Kat was fired around that time & the figure was scrapped. Which would have sucked for Jakks as they likely spent around $30,000 constructing the proto.

Most of the people who have been listed here that actaully did not get a figure didn't really stick around long enough to warrant one, or were unmarketable enough that it would have been a complete waste.
I mean, Jazz. Really.
The only person named so far that actually deserves a figure is Dino Bravo...

Gowen was supposed to be in RA...I think 11. Mordecai or whoever was also planned but got scrapped.
Jackie has an old Tough Enough one-off figure given to her. A few other people from that show got them too. There are pics somewhere.
Meat was just a proto, as was good girl Stephanie. We were all pretty bummed at AFR when they scrapped Steph. That easily could've been her best figure.
A proto for the TTL Funaki that never came out was released in WWE magazine. I think a 2-pack with Taka was supposed to come out in the DoubleSlam series before they stopped it. If that's the case there's probably a proto of Taka out there in Jakks-land and they just didn't release an image since he wasn't with the company still like Funaki. Taka would've been nice to have outside of Slammers.
I wanted a Ministry Mideon and BCA Acolytes really bad. I know there's unreleased BCA 2.0 figures of APA but I wanted their original ministry look. We got something like that in TTL form but Jakks spaced out their figures in exclusive sets, with Farooq being a pain in the ass to track down since he was in a big boxset. Bradshaw was in the Ringside Rivals series. They had DoubleSlam 5 figures in APA street gear.
I wish we had a RA D'lo figure. Pretty sure it was RA3 he was planned for. I really liked his first BCA but the Vader body 2nd release just didn't cut it for me. Chest-protector D'lo was a missed opportunity IMO.

he's signed for a CS figure. is there or is there not a Zach Gowen proto picture? people keep saying there is and there isn't. alot of the names mentioned aren't really worth having a figure of them. most that people on here would buy won't necessarily sell to the wider market thus costing Jakks money instead of profiting them. |
