-- WWE Women's champion Mickie James is working on creating her own clothing line.
-- WWE's developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling held a trial TV taping this week. The taping was to work on production techniques, camera angles and getting the talent comfortable with performing on TV. FCW will be airing on the local CW Network in the coming months.
-- The quarter hour ratings were released for this week's WWE Raw and there's some for CM Punk. The highest rated segment of the show by far was a 4.12 for the overrun featuring new World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk's first title defense against JBL. WWE shook things up with the draft and followed up with a strong show with new faces on top. Some ratings momentum could secure somebody like Punk in a top position.
-- After his recent split from tag team partner Deuce, SmackDown star Clifford "Domino" Compton is said to be on the chopping block, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
-- One of the writers pitched an idea inspired by the ABC drama series Lost for the Vince McMahon stage stunt angle, reports prowrestling.NET. The writer came up with an idea for them to use some of the money increments that McMahon gave away as part of million dollar contest as clues in the latest mystery. The idea was inspired by the "4 8 15 16 23 42" recurring numbers theme used on the show.
-- Natalya has posted her first blog on the WWE Fan Nation website, which you can read at this link. "I, personally, care a lot about what the fans think. That is one of the reasons why I want to interact with them as much as I can, especially through WWE Fan Nation. My whole family believed that wrestling was more than just a sport. It is an art form to us, and the ring is our canvas in which we paint our masterpieces. The fans, the people who believe in us, help contribute to our priceless paintings in the ring and out. In many ways, this drives me to be the very best...or should I say, 'The Elegance of Execution!'" --

-- CO-ED Magazine recently conducted an interview with WWE Diva Maria. They ask her if it hurts getting bodyslammed. Maria says it definitely does. Maria says she believes she has two broken ribs. "Oh yeah, definitely. It definitely hurts. I've gotten a couple of injuries. I busted open a lip not too long ago. I busted open my nose. I broke my thumb. Right now I think I have two broken ribs," Maria said. She also talks about what past Divas she looked up to, her take on Missy Hyatt, Sensational Sherri & Miss Elizabeth, her favorite musicians, and her plans outside of wrestling. "WWE is the most important thing to me. Women's Championship is what I want the most. Beyond that, movies, maybe something musically, I hope to have my own fashion line someday. There's a lot of things I'm interested in doing." www.coedmagazine.com/sports/10030
-- Mr. Kennedy isn't expected to get much of a push despite his move back to SmackDown, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The feeling is that he'll continue to tread water and pretty much stay in the same position he's been treading on Raw during the past year.
-- The latest issue of WWE Magazine has an interview with Women's Champion Mickie James. They asked her if she ever thought about locking lips with Beth Phoenix the way she did with Trish Stratus a few years ago. Mickie said, "I thought about it. In fact, it seemed to me like Beth was the one playing games. Playing mindgames with her could've been dangerous because she's so mentally tough. And, while she's definitely beautiful, she's just not my type. I don't know if I'd want to give her a long kiss goodnight." When asked about the rumors of her doing a clothing line, Mickie says that a lot of the manufactured clothes don't fit her too well and that she has to buy bigger jeans to fit over hips. "Right now, all I have is two outfits made. I'm shooting for eight. It's in the beginning stages, but it's cool because I own these products and can shop to manufacturers. I find it hard to buy clothes -- they just don't fit me. I'm not tall, and I have a small waist, but I have to get jeans that are bigger to fit over my hips. A lot of girls are like that. Everybody isn't shaped the same. I've got all these crazy ideas and eventually I'd like to do guys' stuff too." Mickie also talks about the "worst feeling" in a match being a wardrobe malfunction, which appears to indirectly explain the reason why she stopped wrestling in short skirts a little over a year ago. She's asked about her favorite wrestling outfit. Mickie says, "I love my denim outfit because it's so comfortable, and I feel cool wearing. I loved the blue and orange one with rhinestones and flowers on the bottom. The pants were a little too big for me and they kept slipping. That's the worst feeling when you're in a match and you know there's nothing you can do about a wardrobe malfunction." They also ask her, "Which Diva's fingerprints would you expect to find on the knife that stabs you in the back?" Mickie replies, "Michelle McCool's. Being on SmackDown, she hasn't had a shot at the Women's Title yet. She's hungry. Or maybe even my dear friend Candice. She'd been out with an injury -- an injury that actually cost her a title match. She definitely wants her shot. But when I'm a Champion, I'm a fighting Champion. So I say, "Bring it on."
