I just got back from tonights IWA show. We had to take off early so i missed the dive but from what i was told she landed on one leg with all her weight & it snapped like Sid's did back in WCW, but above the knee. This is a very sad thing too have happen to her especially with her work in TNA at present. By the time i got back to the show Mickie was on the ground and the EMS had just showed up, Mickie was crying and del rey was shooken up. This happen during the mickie vs sara del rey 30 min iron woman match

NWA Midwest promoter Ed Chuman posted the following on ChicagoProWrestling's messageboard regarding Mickie Knuckles injury earlier tonight:
I just got a call from some of the boys at Ian's show tonight. They said Mickie broke her leg doing a dive. From what I understand she landed on one leg with all her weight & it snapped like Sid's did back in WCW, but above the knee. This is a very sad thing too have happen to her especially with her work in TNA at present. I'll I can say is how sorry I am to hear this, and wish her the best in her recovery.
Modification:
It seems that someone else did a dive, and Mickie didn't want to do the same dive, and decided to dive off some balcony, or higher position. Sara tried to catch her, but as stated before she came down on 1 leg, and that was that. I've now heard from Joey, Jason Dukes, Sara through Kong who already heard all the way in Tampa.

I know man it was really kool hanging out with her before the show setting up the ring and getting crapready for the show getting my semi-mark out hug from her when i got there and all for her to have that kinda of end to a great night |

That  ing sucks, I hope she's not out for a long time. I bet TNA will have a fit over this and probably do what they did with the guys who were working with both ROH and TNA and tell Mickie it's too risky for her to wrestle in IWA-MS if she's in TNA. Luckily Mickie would never take TNA over IWA-MS. |

You realize she is virtually Ian's daughter? Atleast he treats her as such and holds her in that regard in his househhold. She is his final student and has always been his most closely held worker in IWA. Now, I agree it was an unecessary risk, but your statement does not reflect that, but instead, I guess Ian's pension for finding workers who will do insane spots? |
