PW Insider- Scott D'Amore is on his way out of TNA and is expected to finish up with the promotion this month. He has been working with TNA for years as a backstage agent and also was the manager for Team Canada. He is leaving so he can devote more time to his sports bar in Canada.
TNAwrestlingnews-TNA producer/agent Scott D'Amore is parting ways with TNA Wrestling. I'm told he will be leaving to devote more time to his businesses in Canada.
The departure is on good terms but Scott always seemed to have heat on him for one reason or another, especially in recent months. He was very outspoken which likely caused it.
D'Amore used to work on camera, managing Team Canada. He was also part of the creative team before Russo and Mantel came along.

Not to be biased, but he was the best leader of the creative team they ever had. 2004-2006 when he was booking will forever be TNA's high point

Yeah.
In retrospect, isn't it sort of odd that TNA's best shows were when D'amore was booking and they had no TV deal?
Just weird how stuff like that works out.

He isn't being kicked out and I am sure that he really does need to focus on some other things other than wrestling right now.
The only question is whether he will finish his training with Frank Trigg or not.

Wasn't D'Amore in charge of creative/booking for the knockouts division?? If so then the last glimmer of hope for TNA looks to be gone.

Sunday's PPV women's gauntlet will be the last D'Amore Knockout stuff...we will see what happens from there
