Which stars from the following 1999 WWF roster, that are still around, would you still consider to be as entertaining (or at least close) in 2008 as they were in 1999?
[] Val Venis. [] Triple H [] DLo Brown. [] Mark Henry. [] Matt Hardy. [] Jeff Hardy. [] Vince McMahon. [] Shane McMahon. [] The Big Show. [] Kane. [] Chris Jericho. [] Undertaker. [] Bradshaw. [] Viscera. [] Edge. [] Hardcore Holly.
- I still enjoy Triple H, though he's nothing in 2008 compared to 1999.
Venis has the potential to still be really good, but they hardly use him.
D'Lo will be good I'm assuming, he's just not back on TV yet.
Henry is still as good as 1999 as far as being a big machine monster guy, but I don't find him personally entertaining.
Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy are both quite good today.
Vince is fantastic, and when he shows up, Shane is too.
Big Show is okay, though I prefer the younger 1999 Show.
Kane I strongly dislike in this day and age, though he was great back then.
Jericho is still great, and Taker is still too even at age 43.
Bradshaw I liked up until his 04-06 original JBL run, but since his late 07-early 08 return to RAW, I haven't enjoyed him as much.
Viscera I don't mind too much under his current Big Daddy V gimmick, he's a good monster, and I'm a fan of his tandem with Matt Striker so it's all good.
Edge is pretty much the top heel in the company, what more is there to say?
Bob Holly is basically the same now as then, he doesn't change much.
You guys' opinions?

The most stand out on that list is obviously Edge. He has improved a tremendous amount and become the most valuable asset to the company.
Triple H is still very, very talented. Same goes for Matt and Jeff Hardy.
Hardcore Holly should have hung up the boots years ago.

Val Venis has slowed down since 1999. He's lost all credibility since then.
Triple H is just as good as ever.
Can't really judge D'Lo Brown.
Mark Henry is better than ever IMO.
Matt & Jeff are just as good as ever.
Vince is less entertaining. But it's nice to see him and Shane once in a while.
Big Show had more character back then. He seems kinda bland now.
Kane is much worse now.
Chris Jericho is still great, but less so than he was in 1999.
Undertaker is the best he's ever been as far as in-ring skills are concerned.
Bradshaw is the best he's ever been.
Viscera has gotten worse.
Edge is amazing now. He was ok in 1999, but now, I mean wow. Defo the top heel in the business.
Hardcore Holly has always been meh.

No matter what you can't compare those wrestlers to how they were in 99.

Isn't it sad that we only have a few guys left from the Attitude era.

Val Venis - Used to be entertaining back in 1999, but he is nothing now. Triple H - He can still wrestle pretty good, although I liked him more in 1999. He's more of a douchebag since he married Steph. D'Lo Brown - Haven't seen anything recent of him. Mark Henry - Still sucks. Matt Hardy - Like him better that he's on a singles run, and just occasionally teaming with Jeff. Jeff Hardy - Like him better that he's on a singles run, and just occasionally teaming with Matt. Vince McMahon - Still very entertaining and charasmatic. Shane McMahon - I'd like to see more of Shane actually. It would be nice to see him fued with a wrestler again, because I love his high spots off the Titantron. The Big Show - Kane - I liked him better when he had the mask, but he can still work. Chris Jericho - Probably one of the best wrestlers in WWE. He's still very entertaining and great on the mic as well, no matter if he's a face or a heel. Undertaker - One of my favorite wrestlers of all time. I loved the Ministry of Darkness and wish he would reform it with newer talent. Maybe Kevin Thorn could be one of them. Bradshaw - I don't really care for his JBL charachter. Viscera - Still sucks. Edge - Looking back on him from 1999, he really has came a long way, and he definately desurved it. Hardcore Holly - Still sucks.

As far as I'm concerned, all have improved or are just as entertaining with the exceptions of the McMahons, Kane, Viscera and Hardcore Holly.
If Val Venis were used more often, than maybe I could make a judgment on him.

The original posters opinion on each guy is pretty much spot on to mine.

Yeah I agree with the orginal poster on all but JBL and Big Show. I personally feel that Big Show is better now as his character is stronger and he is better in the ring. JBL really made something of himself and has shown he has amazing mic skills and can have a good brawl but maybe should think about hanging it up soon as I don't think his back can last much longer judge purely by his body shape.
