A lot of people message me and ask about my Alien and Predator collection, and when I got this, I had to make a thread on it's own for it. Furyu is a Japanese company, who produce CRANE Vending Machine Prizes... Yes, this is a damn crane prize! It stands 10" Tall, and is made from solid PVC Plastic... this wonderfully painted, highly detailed 'statue' only cost me $37 shipped from MonsterIslandToys.com (the website still has it up as pre-order, but their shipment has come in) - Monster Island Toys is a small store in Chicago, so don't be too impressed by their website. However, if you do end up wanting to own this, this is THE ONLY AMERICAN SITE I know of that has it. The production is DONE, both the Alien in the set, and the Predator are officially DISCONTINUED! This was a very, VERY limited run, and at the price, you can't beat it. Kotobukiya released a Vinyl statue of the same Predator (Scar) and the detail and paint job are NOTHING compared to this. The big difference? Kotobukiya's sells for around $160. So hey, if you've been looking for something cool for your shelf, media room, whatever, you can't beat this! The wristblades arrived bent, but a few seconds with a blow dryer to loosen em up, and then straighten them out was ALL that needed to be done. On to pics! Strictly for size purposes: So yeah, hopefully someone else here will see this, and decide to buy it too. It's completely awesome, but do remember, this is a static piece, meaning NO ARTICULATION! It's a statue!

That's damn good for that price and looks a lot better than some of the stuff the ole US of A is putting out.

U.S. toys flat out SUCK now. The ability to scan someone in a machine, and pop out their likeness is extremely cool..
But most Japanese/Korean/Thailand companies opt to actually hand sculpt everything, and a lot of their stuff is all hand painted. I don't know if these were hand painted, but I have it on good authority from a friend on Sideshow Collectibles forums, the original piece used for the mold, was hand carved.
...the way the plastic feels, and the fact that it has no articulation reminds me of the old WCW Galoob figures, lol, obviously way better detail though.
The box was pretty cheap, real basic AVP design, a plastic 'window', and the figure had three twist ties holding it in. But damn, it's a killer figure. I hope Furyu does more Predators, that'd make me a very happy Predator nerd.
