If they're trying to establish Cena's "Street Cred" back then they're  ing up. This is how it's breaking down: Cena aligned himself with Cryme Tyme last week, one step forward. CTC(apparently meaning Cryme Tyme & Cena) trash JBL's limo, another step forward. Cena spray paints "JBL IS POOPY" on his limo, two steps back. Yah see. |

Eh? the whole point of the "JBL is poopy" thing was to be immature and silly. Did you not see the look on Cena's face while spraying it?

His promos are bad. But for some reason it seems to get a good reaction so he must be doing something right.

I think the problem is that WWE's shows are way too scripted. From Cena's lame promo last night, to Punk's generic lines, to the way JBL and Cena reacted to the damaged limo during their entrances. I can imagine the script reading: "Cena enters. Stops at entrance. Reacts to Limo." "JBL enters. Stops at entrance. Reacts to Limo (w/ look of disgust)" It steals from the realism. JBL should have stormed down to the ring, glancing... at the most... at the Limo. WWE's writers can't come up with fresh, character specific material. They need to give some of that power to the wrestlers.

It definitely seems like Cena gets worse with each passing show. He used to be so great, but now he is one of, if not THE worst of all the guys who get a chance to talk at this point.

It's funny. To me it seems Cena is improving as a wrestler, but becoming worse on the stick. I feel most of the time that he is like an announcer ... "biggest match ever!" He sounds like Tony Shiavoni, not a wrestler. If he wasnt so busy being a white-meat baby face that talks about how much he respects and wants to lick the sack of HHH, he could cut some cool promos.
To me, wrestling supposedly has evolved past the white meat babyface doing it all by the rules, but to me, Cena is dated. He should do some kick ass violent stuff like attack and raise hell like Stone Cold did so he doesnt seem like such a goody two shoe pansy.
Again, I think in the ring he is getting much better, but on the mic he just kisses everyones ass and is as politically correct as possible which is cheesy and dated.

The only time Cena was cool was when he would Freestyle, and he actually had some good punchlines.

Yeah the promo was kinda lame, and Raw has been becoming 90% talk and hardly any action. I'm just glad Cena didn't win the main event. I feel that we will get ANOTHER Cena vs. JBL matches at the GAB

I'm just glad Cena didn't win the main event. I feel that we will get ANOTHER Cena vs. JBL matches at the GAB Of course we will. Cena called him poopy... you just don't get away with that. I kinda liked the "poopy"... it was so stupid and kiddish that I just laughed... out loud... really loud. I think its safe to say Cena has hit bottom. And I don't expect his jokes to get any better. |

I think Cena is the best performer on the roster. I think since they are also targeting kids to an extent and Cena is a main star that kids enjoy that he is told to use some more G Rated material. Cena has put on great matches in the past few months, well he always has, it's just everyone hates him for no reason. I actually laughed at the JBL is poopy as cheesy as it was, but the promo really didn't bother me. It was better than Arm Drag Ortiz's promo on ECW or John Morrison saying Finlay can't wrestle.
