CS19 Koloff/Sullivan & IE HHH/Stephanie

Thanks for the pictures PJ. I like your fix-up of Koloff better. I also agree with you about his chain accessory...just a total waste. I see no reason why Jakks couldn't have given him a chain similar to CS 8 Brody's. I just hope when (or IF) we get a Hercules, he'll have a metal chain.

Great photos as always. Koloff looks really good with those boots, I guess I'll be buying two so I can fix one up. I don't know why they gave him such a straight faced expression, there's far too many straight faced emotionless scans in CS, I much prefer some expression especially when a wrestler usually had a certain look on his face. If all CS figures had good expressions and if there were a few more different hand molds then the figures would look infinitely more lifelike, the lack of expression in hands and faces make alot of CS figures a bit statuesque rather than lifelike. I guess the Koloff boots were a mistake on Jakks part but there's no excuse for that rubbish plastic chain, I bought half a meter of the same chain that came with JYD and Zues for 50p! It probably would've cost Jakks less to do the metal chain than the molded plastic one!
Sullivan looks like a superb figure, it's a shame that the dye still soaks into the plastic, far too many figures have been marred by those stains but as long as they are displayed in entrance attire it's not the end of the world, still annoying though. I can't wait to get that figure.
The HHH/Steph set looks awesome, despite not being a set that I was too exited about the idea of it's one that I will happily spend the cash on. The painted t shirt was a stupid mistake but the jacket covers it fine. I actually much prefer the jacket on the CS one to the old TTL one which was far too bulky IMO, this one looks alot more realistic. That's my favourite HHH scan too although maybe not perfect for that Era, a new scan would've been nice but that one's probably the best available. The Steph figure looks wonderful, I love the attire, the make up does look a bit dodgy but that's a minor problem. Two new painted belts (I don't have CSDA Rock) makes this set even more enticing. If only every Jakks figure or even IE could be done to this standard, this is why I love Jakks.

Thanks guys with Nikita it does look like him, but he looks confused/surprised when he should have had a more angry scan as he was the "Russian Nightmare". (Maybe more like the RFE/CS18 Austin scan)

Plasticsuperstar - with the jacket for HHH... I'd like it more if the leather jacket was underneath it. Yes, the old one was so bulky, but with this new one the denim is so thin that if they had the leather underneath it would still rather thin. But it didn't even need the whole leather jacket they could have just added some leather (and the belt) to the inner lining like they did to it's collar just so it had a little more realistic look to it. Don't get me wrong it's not bad as it is, but when you pose him in certain poses you see there's no leather jacket under it.

Nice pickups. I own Koloff and Sullivan, I've also just ordered HHH/Stephanie. I can't wait till I get them.
