WFDC Scoring System
Before you read this, make sure you have gone over the WFWF Guidebook in order to understand all of our rules and regulations.
Introduction
The WFDC is unlike any other E-Fed you will find on the internet. With most other E-Feds, the specific goal is to win, whereas in the WFDC the goals are more to gauge where your skill level is at and improve upon it. With that in mind we have created a points system that will be able to determine a number of questions. How good you are on any given show, how consistantly good you are, how much you improve, and who you are better than can all be answered with this points system. With that in mind, here's how it works.

How You Are Scored
Every RolePlay posted in the WFDC will recieve a score ranging from 1 to 10 points, a zero if you no-show that week. Since the WFDC will also allow RolePlayers in the WFWF a chance to book shows, in the case of a guest booker they will be allowed to vote rather than the owner who they are substituting for. Once all three scores have been posted, they will be added together and divided by three to create the Average Score or, in other words, total number of points you recieve.. With that, every Average Score will be tallied into an Overall Score that will be tracked in this thread.

Rankings
For use in structuring tournaments as well as gauging skill, all Overall Scores will go towards Rankings. However since these rankings are based solely on your Overall Score, you are not ranked necessarily for winning but moreso for quality of RolePlays.

Score Limit
Every RolePlayer in the WFDC is eligible to move up to the WFWF at any time. This will be decided by all three owners and only in the case that someone appears simply too good for the WFDC. However, for those who continue to participate in the WFDC, once your Overall Score reaches 50 Points, you must move up to the WFWF. This is essentially to prevent one person from overly dominating the competition in the WFDC who is capable of competing in the WFWF. Exceptions, however, will be made for those using alternate characters unless they begin to significantly dominate their competition.

Score Resetting
Still, one issue presented by Score Limiting is, more or less, everyone will eventually reach the 50 Points limit regardless of how good they post or not. In an attempt to prevent this issue, every 10 WFDC shows, your overall score will be reset back to 0. While maybe in theory this seems harsh, remember that not only are you eligible to be moved up to the WFWF at any time, but with the bi-weekly format all you need is at least 5 Points in your Average Score to move up within the 10 Show deadline.
