I'm picking this game up tomorrow. Just curious if anyone knew of any where that had it on sale tomorrow. I'd like to get it at the cheapest price. I'll most likely price match it at Wal Mart.

yeah for the most part you'll find it the same everywhere, I know theres a supermarket here (SuperStore) that normally sells their games for a couple of dollars cheaper, but a lot of the time they don't get the game on release.

Yeah. I went ahead and got it at Wal Mart this morning. It ended up being 54 with the 10 % discount I get from where my wife works there.

I picked up a PS2 copy of NCAA Football 2009 for $40 earlier today at my local Meijer store.
I wish there was a roster pack available for download. Oh well, I'm sure there will be one within the next few days.

I have it, it is taking a little getting use to. I have been playing nonstop the past few days on 08...one of the biggest problems I have is that I use my FB and HB alot in the pasing game, and in 08, they are LB and RB buttons...Well in 09 RB is throw the ball away.  |

Yeah. They've altered the controls a bit. But once you get used to it, it's quite effective. I have also acquired a roster pack for 360. There are a few minor issues such as misspellings etc. But overall it works well enough.

I had a match with some guy, he was running the ball every play, and went for it on EVERY 4th down. To me, thats not playing the game. I only played the 1st quarter because after three possessions of it, it just grew old. I'm not going to spend an hour with someone running the ball each down. |

As Pizza can attest to, I used to do that a lot, but (at least I think so) I've gotten a lot better at being more well-rounded. To play Devil's Advocate, if they're doing the same type of play over and over, it shouldn't be too far out of the realm of reason to think that you should be able to find a defensive play to keep them from making any progress with it.

It's the most irritating thing ever when you get someone to forth and long and they use a cheap play to get the first down.

Or did you try and he just camps until the last second leaving you forced to do whatever you have selected? |
