I would and I am. It's a matter of an opinion and my opinion is the card looks good. Of course you would think the card looks good. But honestly, I want to know why you think it's good. For Joe-Booker, a rematch as a gimmick match is acceptable, but are you honestly excited to see weapons inside a cage? LAX-Beer Money is weird because they went from doing a gimmick match to not doing one. And you know there will be tons of outside interference. Petey-Creed is fine, but in my opinion Creed is lackluster. But I understand you like him, and that's cool, so I know why you're excited for that. Angle-Styles in a last man standing match? How many gimmick matches have these two been in, in the past few months? Certainly more than you can count on one hand. This match has been done to death. Christian/Rhino-3D. Like we haven't seen these guys lock it up before... Lethal-Dutt in a chain match. Why? How are chains involved with the wedding angle? Not at all. This could be a normal match with the eventual payoff being a gimmick.

For Joe-Booker, a rematch as a gimmick match is acceptable, but are you honestly excited to see weapons inside a cage? Simple. Yes.LAX-Beer Money is weird because they went from doing a gimmick match to not doing one. And you know there will be tons of outside interference. I agree with you on that one, it is weird.Petey-Creed is fine, but in my opinion Creed is lackluster. But I understand you like him, and that's cool, so I know why you're excited for that. Again, agree.Angle-Styles in a last man standing match? How many gimmick matches have these two been in, in the past few months? Certainly more than you can count on one hand. This match has been done to death. They've only been in two. Christian/Rhino-3D. Like we haven't seen these guys lock it up before... I couldnt care less for this match, TBH.Lethal-Dutt in a chain match. Why? How are chains involved with the wedding angle? Not at all. This could be a normal match with the eventual payoff being a gimmick. Well, the chain might make sense, considering the fact Dutt has been doing the whole "set Val free" nonsense.[/quote]

I'm just excited for the card because: - Beer Money Inc vs. L.A.X: I'm a fan of both James Storm and Robert Roode so I've got my hype up for it due to the possibilty of Storm/Roode taking the straps from L.A.X - Petey Williams vs. Au-er- Consquences Creed for the reason you said. - Styles/Angle: Gimmick match or no gimmick match this has everything to make it a good match. Also, this is only their third one-on-one enconter and first with a gimmick. I doubt count FMM as a "Styles/Angle" match. - Cage & Rhino vs. Team 3D: It's the end of this feud it looks like (there's nothing more they can do) so I'm expecting good things out of it and none of the guys are shy of that big "HOLY ****!" moment. - Lethal/Dutt: I'm excited to see what these two can do with the chain and how well they can work the match since both are high fylers for the most part. Booker/Joe - bleh. I'm not going to bitch about the gimmicks because honestly - I'm excited to see what they do diffrence: my opinion.

Fortunately in the uK we get the PPV's free on a few days delay so I'll watch it, however no way would I pay for what appears a very lackluster PPV
Not a single match has my intrigued

Lethal-Dutt in a chain match. Why? How are chains involved with the wedding angle? Not at all. This could be a normal match with the eventual payoff being a gimmick. Clever wordplay..."Black Tie Brawl and Chain Match" is a play on "Ball and Chain," slang for one's spouse.

My predictions/ hopeful outcomes.
Booker vs. Joe- Joe will win and I think this will set up an nwo type stable with Nash/Sting/Booker leading into a Nash/Joe feud or Sting/Joe feud.
LAX vs. Beer Money- I bet they will give Beer Money the straps.
Williams vs. Creed- Creed will take the strap off of Petey.
Angle vs. Styles- I think this will be an amazing match with Styles winning and maybe Kurt and him shake hands and their feud is done.
Cage and Rhino vs. 3D- This should be great, there will be a lot of spots in this, I see Cage and Rhino winning.
Lethal vs. Dutt- This should be great, I see Lethal winning with Val leaving with Dutt. I’d love to see them in an Ironman match at BFG winner takes Val.

im am actually very happy with this card...im probably going to order What isn't there to be happy about? Sure, there are "to many gimmick matches" but listen to the commerical it's TNA's most Hardcore PPV of the year. No crapit's gonna have gimmicks lol.

I know TNA likes to combine matches to create new ones...hell, it's their second most popular match creation strategy, behind taking a gimmick match and reversing it. But the Black Tie Brawl & Chain Match might just be one of the strangest combos ever. im am actually very happy with this card...im probably going to order What isn't there to be happy about? Sure, there are "to many gimmick matches" but listen to the commerical it's TNA's most Hardcore PPV of the year. No **** it's gonna have gimmicks lol. Yeah, it's like WWE One Night Stand, or WCW Uncensored.

Ok, simply put. Everyone else is giving opinions, might as well give mine:
Samoa Joe/Booker T- A one-on-one rematch would've been fine. Not something I wanna see again, but it would've been fine. However, when you throw in 2 gimmicks into one match... it's going to SUCK. It'll be a complete cluster of a mess, with Joe more than likely still walking out champion.
AJ Styles/Kurt Angle- This is actually their third one-on-one encounter and their 2nd gimmicked. Don't count Full Metal Mayhem, it's fine... but they also had a Lumberjack match the iMPACT! after Victory Road. Either way, this is the ONLY match I wanna see on the card. It'll be interesting to see how far these 2 go, kinda hoping to see a HHH/HBK-esque battle like they did at the Royal Rumble in 2004. Should be a good one.
LAX/Beer Money- Eh, unless Beer Money walk out champions, this match will be utterly POINTLESS. Even if they do walk out champions, most people still aren't going to care. Beer Money is already getting a little stale and boring. But getting the straps Sunday is the best outcome they can do.
Christian Cage & Rhino/Team 3D- Ugh, this is going to be boring as hell. Team 3D are boring and slow, point blank. They need a young team to make them look good. Not Rhino and a washed up Christian. I see someone taking a bump through a "glass" table to end it. Either way, this is going to further show that Team 3D have run their course and done their job in TNA... time to send them packing.
Petey Williams/Consequences Creed- Eh, i'm not sure about this match. 2 things I don't like about it... Not really any build-up for this match and Creed isn't anything spectacular. Petey better walk out champion, but it'll be interesting to see what Carlito & Benjamin's love-child can do in a one-on-one pay-per-view match.
Jay Lethal/Sonjay Dutt- Hmm, these 2 can go in the ring and have good chemistry together. However, theres this annoying thing in the way of this match... oh, thats right. A crappy storyline and a crappier gimmick.
Taylor Wilde, Gail Kim & ODB/The Beautiful People & Awesome Kong- Sadly, this looks like complete and utter crap on paper, but will most likely be the 2nd best match of the night. TNA Knockouts are pretty much better competitors and harder workers than most of TNA's upper-card. I think 6 is a little much, but whatever.
I just hope they do a dark match or 2. One with MCMG vs. whoever, and Curry Man vs. whoever... just so me and my friend can shout our "WE WANT DANIELS!" chant. Haha.

pretty sad that tna has to rely on wwe based names in all three of their main events. hell, ryno christian/3D is something right out of raw.
also, do they really need stipulations in every other match? it's excessive. reminds me of wcw ppv's circa late 2000, 2001.

I think the card looks decent. lookin forward to AJ/Angle. Hope Creed and Beer Money win. Booker/Joe is growin on me so i'll see how TNa jacks up this Sting angle. However, I'm really not looking forward to 9 more months of Joe/nash/booker/sting love fest. Or for pete's sake Angle/AJ...man is that thing ever done! Everything else i could care less about
