was talking to mate the other day there about battle royals,and just wondering if ROH have ever had a battle royal with there top stars,because i really cant remember  1+ for help thanks |

Wow... just noticed they haven't had any battle royals. Actually, most of the top indy promotions haven't had any battle royals.

well guys, i will hand out the karma over the next few hours. kinda surprising there has been no battle royal yet,which is what i thought.....but it is kind of disapointing,as iam one of the very few that like a good old battle royal

They do not do the battle royals most likely because.. they have set up so many great stories and feuds that a battle royal hasn't been neccesary. I do not think that Gabe would do one just to do it.

Just a guess... maybe the cost of talent needed to put on a decent battle royal isn't worth the revenue it would bring in.

Honestly thats odd Cause to tell you the truth I dont think other than the hardcore battle royal at TOD 4 CZW never had a battle royal either if They did then I missed it but yea im a sucker for battle royals and all but it just doesnt seem to fit the ROH style

Just to add to my previous post, ROH has lots of four-corner survival matches, which are just as exciting as battle royals, IMO. Gabe's all into trying to book matches the best that they can possibly be, and to be honest with you, there haven't been many great battle royals in recent history.

They just announced the first ever "Honor Rumble", this saturday in Detroit. unbelivable hope it will be on dvd at some point It'll probably be on the ppv dvd, as they always have the "dark matches" as bonus features on those dvd's. It'll be interesting to see who wins the Rumble. |
