TNA are discussing the idea of preventing all contracted performers (not those on pay per appearance deals) from working on other independent shows, or at least scaling back on how often it occurs.
Although TNA receives a fee from any promoter that uses their talent they feel that other shows are stealing their thunder, when they could be running house shows in the same areas themselves.
This may become a big problem as many wrestlers need outside bookings to make a decent income.

If they're going to do that, what they need to do is contract everyone and actually pay them well...that way we won't have people like Mickie Knuckles taking indy bookings to make ends meet and then hurting themselves.

Good, getting hurt in a low level indy is not worth the long term loss.
