Disco has a point. I'm not ****ting on Danielson, but if he were to go over to WWE, he would be mid-card because he has no character. We've seen plenty of guys with ability never reach the top for one reason or another. Benoit was better than Danielson, and look how long it took for him to reach the top with nothing but his abilities. Most of the guys in WWE get to the top because of character. Not because they ARE a character, but because they HAVE character. I think Danielson could use some. So that means Eddie Guerrero had no character right? Both he and Benoit joined WWE and got WWE title reigns at the same time. I guess Edge REALLY has no character considering it took him eight years to get a title reign.
I think Bryan Danielson has more character than people give him credit for. All he needs in WWE is delivery anyway, the writing team unfortunately takes care of the rest. As for gimmick, like I said before... the white guy that is heavily into japanese culture. Have him follow bushido... never cheats, always is respectful towards opponents, exacts revenge by proving his abilities are superior, etc. I can just picture a hype promo consisting of him meditating on a barge on some lake in Japan.[/b] simaler things have been done before,but i think that rough idea would be pretty good,not just for us to see,but for general fans too. u talk alot of sense somtimes from what i have seen on this forum,god knows how you have -38 karma lol |

Meh....I could picture him being an Ice Cream Delivery driver. So whats your point? I dont believe Danielson has the ability to deliver in the E. He's great on the indys. Indy fans are smarter than E fans. They can understand complex story lines and understand how good Danielson is, especially as a heel. The E fans will see a really, really white guy and doesnt do any flippy moves. |

He didn't really have much of a gimmick. Lets see he was in TNA's only 5 star match. Which AJ and Daniels never pulled off in there several years in TNA. Disco you must have put your brain in a firey inferno people want too see wrestling not guys from other periods. WCW got its viewers because there was wrestling. When it became sports entertainment with Russo it died. Bryan Danielson > Disco, Russo, and sports entertainment. No wonder TNA sucks with this guy as an agent. joe was in TNA's only 5 star match. that is straight up bullcrap. joe has not had one 5 star match in tna ,yet & to say AJ and Daniels never pulled off in there several years in TNA. is alos bullcrap there were more 5 star matches done before joe ever got to TNA. AJ styles & jerry lynn were puting on 5 star matches in the first year & so was lo ki. this shows you know nothing of tna. When tna moved to impact zone it stop doing 5 star matches & real has not had one since.please joe has nothing on aj styles or jerry lynn in tna. |

Joe vs Styles Vs Daniels #1 was the last perfect match in TNA Everything since then hasn't been as good. The Angle/Joe Matches sucked too compared to that.. Well, I agree for the most part. But I do have to say that Joe/Styles from Turning Point 2005 was an amazing match. |

I'm going to say this because i will admit, i find AmDrag dull... and that is because of the reason he stated, whilst he's a great wrestler (though i think there are better ones in the world) his lack of personality and character / gimmick makes it even more hard for me to connect and actually care about his matches... without some sort of character, he'll have the same thing benoit had in his career, all the talent but he wont be able to connect enough with the fans to make it on a higher level if he hasn't got a gimmick or natural charisma / personality.
Also i agree with him when he said that people in ROH don't sell well... many times i've seen someone pull of an overused and rediculous 890 somersault plancha type move and his opponent will fall down and get straight back up again.
This reminded me alot of Ravens shoot... now that guy has alot of sence

Wow, I never said anything about Eddie. Who cares if they came into the WWE at the same time? I never said anything about Edge either. Go through my posts over the years and I put Edge and Eddie over big. Edge and Eddie developed over the years. Benoit not so much. I said Danielson right now has no character.
