I'll start off with a few stories from the weekend as usual followed by my pics. First thing I did upon getting to Long Island after dealing with cray traffic on the George Washiongton Bridge was hit up the Foley signing. I was very disappointed in this. Although they were playing the Best of RAW 15th anniversary DVD to pass time, I was upset becuase according to the promoter autographs from Mick Foley were $25. This was according to an email he sent me and the presale website. When I got there, not all autographs were $25, Any belt was $40. Wouldn't you know it, I had my Attitude era belt I wanted signed so I had to cough up another $15. I was pretty upset about this that they just change the pricing for no reason. But meeting Mick was good. There is a pic of us below. From there I waited at the Mariottt for any wrestlers that may show up. As we got there Edge was leaving and so we waited for him to return. The only other people to show up wre Cryme Tyme as WWE had switched hotels due to the Warior signing.
Luckily me and some friend had that hotel booked for Sunday so we headed over early Sunday morning to meet some people and there was trouble from the start. We were asked to leave the premises despite havign a reservation for the hotel. After determining it was ok to stay we got to meet Michelle McCool and Cena. After that hotel staff came out and said that we were no longer allowed to ask any wrestler for autographs or pictures. So many superstars went by. We talked to many of them but couldn't do anything else. The list of people I should have met includes: Ron Simmons, D'Lo Brown, Pat Patterson, Gerald Briscoe, Michael Hayes, Bam Neeley, The Wedding Planner, Maryse, Nickey, Candice, Lena, Victoria, Jillian, DH Smith, Katie Lea, Paul Birchill, Maria, Kennedy, Funaki, Khali, Ron Killings, Mickie James, Edge, Ted Diabiase Jr, Vladimir Koslov, Armando Estrada, Brian Kendrick, Vickie Guerrero, and Eve.
We did get to have pretty decent copnversations with Pat Patterson and Edge though. The hotel really had soemthing agaisnt us because they esclated their warning to us being un able to even talk to the people as they walked by. When Edge came by and stayed for a conversation the hotel canceled our reservation and kicked us off the property. If we would have stayed tehy would have called the police. I'm still really pissed off at the hotel because I heard that later that night people had no problems handing out and meeting superstars and divas. The staff treated us worse than human with their glares and threats and I hope WWE never returns there.
The Bash was a decent PPV but there was nothing that glamourous about it. i hope everyone enjoys the pics I did get and boycotts the Garden City Hotel in Long Island.
Below is my 2nd favorite pic of the night.
