Last week on Impact, TNA must have spent like 20 minutes on a battle royal to determine the #1 contender for the knockouts title. Then on Impact this week, the winner of that match, Velvet Sky, loses the match in 5 seconds. Then the next time in like 20 seconds. What the is the point of this? They just wasted our time last week for no reason. It makes no sense to do stupid craplike this.

yea, but I am more angry at the fact it made Velvet look bad, she is awesome and they should use her better.

But surely this is all being done to build up the champion Taylor. That ws the No. 1 contender & she beat her easilly lence it makes taylor look strong, I'm not convinced it was the right move but there is a reason behind it. Taylor is still new to the group & TNA are doing a solid job of building her up, but obviously it had to be at someone's expense

I like Taylor's skills in the ring....but she is giving me John Cena syndrome.
John Cena Syndrome= Like at first, then gets shoved down my throat as they overcome every obstacle, making their opponents look weaker in the process
Luckily Cena got his cured after a couple years with me, and now I don't expect Taylor's to last long cause TNA rarely creates long term stars (sort of shuffles them every now and then)

WWE can do it, it's not really a hard concept...

They made Taylor look strong, but they also made Velvet look weak.

Instead, they made it seem as if Velvet isn't a real competition. I know I won't take her seriously anymore. - Triple S

Who the hell took Velvet Sky seriously in the first place?.. She's awful.. TNA have obviously realised Madison is no more than.. well, T 'n' A.. also, as a member of the cocky, snotty, Beautiful People, her losing two matches in a total of 25 seconds, serves as a way of deflating her ego - and taking her down a peg or two..

Were people here really impressed with Velvet then before this squashing? Yeah she looks good but that is about it.

The guy that WWE books to look weak, get his ass kicked, win in a heel like fashion, win the title in a heel-fashion, and not even the main focus of the show?

And it makes the whole knockouts division look weak. They all lost a Royal Rumble type match to someone who lost a match in 5 seconds.

WorldChampionCMPunksayswhat? The guy that WWE books to look weak, get his ass kicked, win in a heel like fashion, win the title in a heel-fashion, and not even the main focus of the show? I'm waiting for him to freak out and challenge someone to a cage match just so he can get something vaguely resembling a clean victory. Seems like the only WWE brand with its Champ at the focus is the one with the worst Champ. Aaaaanyway...back to Velvet. I drew the Punk comparison because Taylor is becoming the anti-Punk, so to speak...hell, they've nicknamed her "the Upset Queen." Yeah, when you're Women's Champion's only distinguishable finishing move is a schoolgirl, you're not building her or her opponent up properly.
