Is this in New York, Philly, or Chi Ridge? If Tyler Black leaves champion I will mark on all fours. Hammerstein...obviously

I would guess that Nigel retains the title.

Claudio said if he didn't win though he would leave and he lost. Yes the press release said he threatened to walk out but it still don't make sense and makes Claudio look like a whiner and ROH look desperate in a storyline sense. I'm pretty sure the plan is for Claudio to look like a whiner. He's takes a few shows off, and Sweeney brings him back by convincing him he can save his career by teaming back up with Hero. By that time Steen and Generico or Aries & Dragon will have the tag belts and you've got a huge feud leading to the end of the year. Money in the bank It sounds to me like the plan was for Claudio to win the ROH Title on PPV and then Gabe decided it would be a better idea for Claudio to win in NYC because of the atmosphere. I'm convinced Nigel is retaining or Tyler Black is winning the belt. I could of been positive and said "looks like a great show" but I'd be lying. I'm not saying the show is bad but honestly can I help that's all that interests me on this card? Strong/Edwards and Hero/Delirious just scream average to me. You know I've never liked Pearce so the NWA Title match isn't interesting other than the fact that I hope Albright wins. Go doesn't really impress me that much but is alright with the right opponent. So you named 4 matches you weren't interested in because of who is in them, but you have the World and MCMG match, the Briscoes tag, the 3 way which should be awesome, and it's NYC so the crowd will be insane. Reason enough to be overly positive even with another god awful Delirious match. I could see if I said this card terrible or something but I didn't. I mentioned what interests me and what doesn't interest me. The card just seems weak for NYC when you compare to some of the other shows there. NYC is spoiled no doubt and you come expecting to the best. The card is far from horrible but in my personal opinion when you rank it up with other NYC cards it looks weak. In other words, my point is basically that I'm glad I skipped this show and not a different show that might have been amazing as it seems like I usually pick the wrong NYC shows to go to. I'm glad that if I was gonna make the choice to not attend one that this is the one. I will still pick up the DVD so I'm still supporting the product. I really don't see the problem. It's cool you'll buy the disc and all but really you're the only one I've seen to say this show is weak. You've got a ton of angles built up to this show, with the majority of the show looking really good. It's a lot harder to be negative then it is to be positive.

By that time Steen and Generico or Aries & Dragon will have the tag belts and you've got a huge feud leading to the end of the year. Money in the bank I certainly hope this is the plan as Hero will never be as huge in ROH as a Danielson, Nigel or Aries and Claudio has done all he can do. I still think it would of been a lot simplier and less confusing for Claudio to lose with a good effort and then once again come so close to winning but losing and then something airs on the videowire about how he quits. I mentioned the other matches in my other post. The Briscoes have so many good matches that by the time they have their next one this one will already be forgotten about. The three way will probably be the same brawl we have seen plenty of times. I honestly have not liked Butcher much sense he's come to ROH. He bumps and works just as hard but he hasn't really had many matches that stick out since joining ROH. Actually one thing about all wrestling fans is as much as you enjoy something you point out the first negative thing you see. I do it, you do it and everyone on this forum does it no matter if it's wrestling, movies, TV what not. I've seen people state how good The Dark Knight is but still point out some of the flaws. Does that mean it wasn't enjoyable? Not at all but people seem to point out the flaws along with the positive.

I hate all but the last 4. I'd still gladly go if I had a way.

I certainly hope this is the plan as Hero will never be as huge in ROH as a Danielson, Nigel or Aries and Claudio has done all he can do. I still think it would of been a lot simplier and less confusing for Claudio to lose with a good effort and then once again come so close to winning but losing and then something airs on the videowire about how he quits. If you managed to get confused by a wrestling storyline you've got some issues. Wrestling isn't all that complex to understand. It takes a special type of idiot to come up with something incredibly confusing in wrestling, see Russo, Vincent and McMahon, Vince. In regards to the Briscoes comment, if a tree falls in the forrest and nobody hears it, does the tree still fall? Of course it does. Great matches are often forgotten about so it shouldn't matter if the next one is better. Pretty much all brawls are similar in some way. This has so many issues though from an angle standpoint the big question is who does Necro side with. Actually one thing about all wrestling fans is as much as you enjoy something you point out the first negative thing you see. I do it, you do it and everyone on this forum does it no matter if it's wrestling, movies, TV what not. I disagree with this big time. Rarely do I mention the negative stuff about ROH shows because by the time a show is over I've either forgotten about it or the rest was so good it didn't matter. Negative people aim for the negative first and make that the dominating point of their view. I'm positive so I keep things that way unless something needs to be pointed out. I've seen people state how good The Dark Knight is but still point out some of the flaws. Does that mean it wasn't enjoyable? Not at all but people seem to point out the flaws along with the positive. That's fine if you point out the negative stuff, but why should it always be the biggest part of what you have to say. A positive person would state something like "The match was really good. In fact I enjoyed the vast majority of the show. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the 2nd match on the show." Two positive sentences and one negative. That's just a small example of why a lot of people find you to be overly negative. The majority of your posting, consists of complaints with a little positive stuff tossed in as dressing on the negative salad. Perception is very important.

Albright isn't that great and neither is Pearce. I guess it will be a decent match at best.

Am I the only one amped for the NWA Title match? I'm pretty excited for it too. I think it has a chance to be one of the better matches on the show.
