So, today I was at Sam Goody, seeing what wrestling movies they had. WWE...nah, seen most. TNA? To pricey...ROH? So I see there are four DVD's, and I pick up "Best In The World", seeing as the match listing looked really good. I knew about half the people on the DVD, and only have seen 1/4 of them wrestle regularly. Anyways, the I get home and pop it in. First match is Joe Vs Kobashi. What do I say? THEY STIFFED THE  OUT OF EACH OTHER! And not only that, but the chemistry was god like. So, after that match, I see the next match has Matt Sydal teaming with AJ Styles battling two guys I didn't even know. At the end of the match, I was googling them, watching clips, etc. It goes to show you that ROH is a great promotion, maybe in my eyes, not as good as WWE (I grew up with the 'E) but from now on, I will start collecting as much ROH DVD's I can. Thanks for reading... Could you suggest any matches I may wanna get my hands on? I honestly loved Joe/Kobashi, and I thought the Sydal/Styles tag team match was alright. KENTA/Aries was also great... |

A personal favorite of mine is AJ vs. Danielson in a pure wrestling rules match. Can't remember which dvd this was, but it had no commentary on it. I swear you can literally hear AJ's arm popping at one point in the match. Great match for those that think AJ is only a high flyer.

A personal favorite of mine is AJ vs. Danielson in a pure wrestling rules match. Can't remember which dvd this was, but it had no commentary on it. I swear you can literally hear AJ's arm popping at one point in the match. Great match for those that think AJ is only a high flyer. All-Star Extravaganza, Main Event Spectacles or Dissension? I believe the commentators left the table in their Main Event Spectacles match. |
