If Mick Foley all of a sudden started doing commentary under his different personas. One week he may have the mentality of the sadistic, blood thirsty, cruel intentioned Cactus Jack. The next week he's a groovy, hip cat with style off the map, not your old pal Cactus Jack, but Dude Love.
....yeah, slightly peculiar, and a bit unnecessary, but who would have liked to see that be it in the future or before Foley started his run on Smackdown?

hah that would be a cool return storyline, this is how i see it:
edge attacks foley this week on smackdown, next week foley takes a bump out by the announcers desk unintentionally 2 weeks from now someone swings a steel chair and misses there target smacking foley, foley gets up kinda half no selling it saying he barely felt anything, and from that point on he speaks in the other gimmicks until he decides to attack someone as Mankind.
good idea.

Id love that. But i think the only way it would work is if they did it all in good fun, like as a joke. It shouldnt be developed in to a storyline like Mike Awesome said.

That would be awesome! One night he'd be Mick Foley then the next Cactus Jack and then Dude Love and then...MR. SOCKO!! I think he could probably get away with it and it would be hilarious! But I think Foley's trying hard to be taken seriously as a play-by-play man so I don't know if he would. |

Although it would mean that the Announcing would be a little wierd, it would still be great to watch, and would add something different to the show.

That could actually be fairly entertaining. Even better, though, would be a talk show (like the Highlight Reel, Cutting Edge, VIP Lounge, etc), where his guests would have no idea who they'd be talking with.

So.....I guess I'll be the first to say that I dont really like this idea. Not bashing anyone or anything. I guess it's natural since I dont like Foley anyway. Just would'nt entertaine me.

I'll give you credit, at least, for making a post with no spelling errors...  Like I said, it's as cool of an idea, as it is dumb or completely unnecessary. The point is that it'd be something that is pretty unmatchable as far as quality. You'd really have to understand that one segment Foley did with his three personas, to see it as anything with potential. |
