Just looking for any thoughts on this game and how it controls since I'm thinking of picking it up soon. I've heard that the base-running is a lot like RBI Baseball, which takes some getting used to, but I've never played RBI so could anyone elaborate on that?

This game is really great. The controls are very easy to learn. The baserunning in this game is a lot easier than 2K & The Show. I like this game more than those two games. Most fun I've had with a game since the MVP series. For $20 on the PS2 for me this was complete robbery. If you're a fan of sports games you can't go wrong with this game.

How do the controls work? do you use the wii mote to swing and pitch or can you use the classic controller/Gamecube controller?

But I know that you can use those other controllers if you wish. If I remember correctly when I played Power Pros last year on the Wii, there really weren't motion controls. I think you still used the A button to hit.
