Well, since there hasnt been much mention of it, Respect is Earned II is now on demand. After coming off a top notch PPV with Take No Prisoners, I would recommend everyone to view the new PPV. The price was raised to $15.00 though , but its worth it.

Very lackluster PPV. Loved the opener, Davey/Claudio was decent and the fight without honor was alright. The rest really didn't keep me interested. They seemed to drag out the matches and waited until the end to do anything interesting. $15 saved in my pocket.

I thought they did a great job in the opener, Claudio and Davey put on a good match, and the fight without honor (even though not as good as it was hyped) was still enjoyable.

I see nothing different.

BTW Nigel/Go was awful...

The only awful part was that no one believed Go would win. That took all the drama out of the match.

I really do wish ROH get their PPVs back on track. The first four (Respect Is Earned, Driven, Man Up and Undeniable) were all fantastic and had continuity and storylines. Recently the PPVs have had little continuity.
I mean looking at Respect Is Earned II. They put on this big match between Strong and Stevens as a feud blow off but have they feuded on PPV? Nope. Well i guess a tiny bit in the Resiliance/NRC days. That's just really bad booking.
I know most ROH fans watch all their shows and that but personally i only watch the PPVs and i think many people will be the same as me and i guess i feel a little like we're being deglected. After the news that PPVs weren't doing so well ROH has pretty much just put out half assed shows on PPV. Rising Above was pretty awful.
Still, i'll watch Respect Is Earned II, hoping it's good.

I didn't think it was boring live. I just didn't care about it. Go doesn't have epic big matches anyway.

Right here's some of my thoughts. I may relate to the next PPV in terms of booking. If i do they will all my in white text so will need to be highlighted.
Firstly i know the Breaking News bits have to be done but gawd they keep saying the Tag Titles mean so much yet they're passed around all the time. I hope the AOTF keep them for a long time.
Good opener, really fast paced with Steenerico and the Vulture Squad. It also really got Ruckus over alot as he was pulling out loads of great moves.
The Claudio/Davey match was alright but i don't think Claudio went over as much as he could of done. The finish came pretty much out of nowhere. Liked Nigel on commentary. Clearly they enjoyed him on the commentary at Rising Above so put him on here. Adds a bit of heat for Claudio vs Nigel at New Horizons, which i'm looking forward to. Solid defence for Nigel.
The 6 man tag was odd. Compare it to the Hangmen 3 vs Steenerico and Delirious from Undeniable and well it's difficult to compare. For me, an only PPV viewer there was little chemistry between Pearce/Hero/Edwards and the others were just a rag tag bunch. They did their best though. I just want to see Brent vs Pearce one-on-one
The Fight Without Honor was intresting. For me they haven't really been feuding. Sure they were part of the Resiliance/NRC fight but other than that pretty much nothing. The video package was good, made you realise they hate each so much. Still though could of done with a singles match on PPV first then the Fight without Honor, make more of an impact. The Ladder spot was insane, made me jump.
The Title match was decent, but not great. It was a pretty bold move putting Go in the match after he's pretty unknown to the PPV audience. I think he's good but not great. Everything he does is polished and he works well, but is just really bland. So glad this match didn't main event.
The Tag Title main event was excellent. Dragged slightly at the start but once it got going it was great, especially the ending. I thought the Lacey storyline was maybe a bit too much. It came out of nowhere and already they are at each other's throats big time! Seeing as what happened at the end of New Horizons aswell i'm guessing they are building to a big fight between the two on the PPV after New Horizons. Which will be pretty cool actually.
Now for some talk of what i really really liked in the PPV I thought it was great when Bryan Danielson came out and challenged Nigel and Nigel coming out after Danielson got pinned by Tyler saying he's not worthy. It sets it up so well. Tyler came out of nowhere and shocked the world of how close he came to the title. The next PPV headlined maybe by Danielson vs Tyler. Hopefully it'll be a number one contender's match. Danielson wins thus proving himself and faces Nigel at the next PPV and wins. That's how i hope it gets booked. Puts Tyler in the spotlight as a big contender but still builds up to the big feud, which was on at Driven, between Nigel and Dragon.

I agree that ROH hasn't really had the storylines follow that well for the PPV viewers but I will give them credit for doing a good job of building the top three matches on the next PPV in Claudio/Nigel, Danielson/Black and Aries/Jacobs.

Well it sounded good. Now it seems almost bad. Glad I read this I was going too buy the DVD. Didn't know the main event was a tag team match.

Knowing the main event was a tag match, means that it's a better show. Tag Matches > Singles.

They really need to show more replays of their PPVs, I missed the last one and figured that it would be on again later in the week like it usually is, but it only showed like twice and from what I can see on the schedule its going to be the same with this one (I completely forgot about this one)
