The legal woes of former Ultimate Fighting Championship title holder, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson may have just taken a turn for the worse as a Huntington Beach woman who was involved in the hit and run crash with the fighter has miscarried her baby according to a report from the Daily Pilot newspaper.
According to the report on the newspaper’s website, Holly Griggs, 38, was driving her 2007 Cadillac Escalade in the left lane of the southbound 55 Freeway on July 15 when the former UFC champion sideswiped her as he was driving along the median.
Following the incident and further actions during the chase with Jackson, he was arrested and charged, but then released on $25,000 bail before being picked up again just days later and admitted to a mental health facility for treatment.
Prosecutors from the area have yet to file any further charges against the fighter at this time and could not comment to the Daily Pilot on any charges that would stem from Griggs’ miscarriage.
While Griggs has made no official statement, her fiancé and father to the baby, Bill Krebs spoke to reporters and while the couple have retained legal counsel they have yet to officially file any action against Jackson.
“No amount of money will bring back my son,” said Krebs to reporters following the incident.
Jackson, nor anyone close to the fighter, has yet to go on record with an official statement following the situation with the Griggs’ family.
-This is terrible & I don't know what to say.

I feel very bad for the family that lost there baby. But it still does not change my position on why Rampage should not go to jail.

You are out of your friggin' mind if you still believe Rampage should not go to jail after hearing this unfortunate news. I knew right from the start of this whole mess that's right where he should be and this should put the exclamation point on it, big time!! No excuse in the world can save Rampage's ass now. Not that it could before, but certainly not now. There will definitely be some jail-time for sure. No question about that. And rightfully so.

Mod edit: Personal attack in response to previous personal attack removed.Rampage Jackson was on MEDS...that MADE him to do what he did...THUS he was/is MEDICALLY UNFIT TO GO TO PRISON Do i feel sorry for rampage, not one bit. The mother of the child YES i do feel sorry for her. Rampage probably wont see any jail time because of how he is medically unstable and was at that time. Will he lose his ass in lawsuits, bet your ass he will but Mr.Old School seriously you dont contribute ANYTHING to these posts when all you do is talk negative about everything you get the chance to do

You should think before you speak, what if that was your mom that got sideswipped or killed, i mean lets think about it there was a child here that was kid a baby, what if it was your mom that got killed? your girlfriend? maybe even your kid? how could you simply say he was on meds he doesn't deserve any jail time? Im sure when he took the meds the doctors told him not to drive or operate any vehicles and he did so at his own risk, does that make rampage responsible? It sure as hell does, he shouldn't have been operating a car to begin with, and if he didn't and followed what the doctor who prescribed those pills had said then he wouldn't be in this mess to begin with, he needs to go to jail simply for disobeying the doctor and because of that this is where it led.

jeez.
I was hoping rampage could just get his head together and be back to his winning ways in the UFC but I think this may be it for him. I don't see UFC keeping him around as a lot of people who aren't paying close attention to the situation will view him as a threat to not only other fighters but the public in general.
That really does suck. Not only for Rampage but for that poor lady, I can't even imagine how that must feel.

You dont have to post 20 times saying you think Rampage should rot in hell. You stated your opinion once and others came on after and stated theirs. That does not mean you have to come on and argue. Come on and say they are automatically wrong.

You know what's really sad, the majority of you are just sitting here thinking how this will impact his career and being like "Wow this is terrible for Rampage". Honestly Rampage's state of mind right or his career is the least of my worries, a family just lost their unborn child. Have some damn perspective.
