So I was thinking to myself the other day if I was for some reason a billion/multi million dollar investor and could afford to lose some money in order to help build up a wrestling promotion who would I help out.
Personally with the way that TNA is going with how they seem to deal with talent and all that I would probably just let them die out as they really have not impressed me with how they handle investors and other marketing associates. Do they even have any sponsers anymore?
I believe that I would help out ROH and PWG as those are the two promotions that I really do keep up with. Obviously there are other promotions such as JAPW and ECWA who have been around for much longer than other indy that could use the help also. So who would you help out?

The easy answer if you plan on earning your investment back, is ROH. They have the most world wide exposure, better talent, a more experienced and creative booker, and a devoted, passionate fanbase.
Choosing anything else would be foolish.

If i'm trying to make a good investment and earn my money back, i'd go with ROH. Otherwise, I'd go with Chikara to try to help them grow into something bigger, and get them more exposure.

CZW or FWA...CZW was the first indy show I ever saw back in 2004, unless you count a couple of NOAHs or NWATNA.

Also keep in mind you don't have to do it to get the money back persay as this would really be just for your own fun and games kinda thing. I would still pick CHIKARA, ROH, PWG even if I knew I would never get the money back.

I'd go with Chikara. Even if it just meant Quack buying a real nice building for a school and permanent buidling to run in, and some plane tickets from Mexico and Japan.
I'd also give a good chunk of change to IWA-MS, because I drink the Kool Aid

Considering that investing in a wrestling company seems like a terrible idea I would at least like to be amused while losing my money. Off to Japan I would go and partner up with Inoki if not just for the ridiculous events that would follow.

I would Fund the IWS because They are basically indies of the indies. They basically devolped stars like Kevin Steen , Beef Wellington , Sexxxy Eddie , El Genereico and much more

I'd go with ROH & TNA, because ROH needs that little push into main stream and TNA to get them even higher for the WWE to have a much fierce competition.

I remember watching that, there was a cool guy on it called Doug Williams or something? He was good. There was another called Shane or something who was champ at the time when I watched it, was ages ago

I screwed up my vote... I said ROH because if I had a million dollars, I would invest or give it to them... however from an INVESTMENT point of view I would TOTALY pick TNA because they seem like the most financially viable option and the odds of getting the best return on my investment are higher when investing in TNA than ROH... From a business standpoint, TNA... from a personal standpoint, Ring of Honor gets my investment...

I voted Chikara, now I'm a bigger ROH fan, but they're doing alright and I feel like Chikara is a more appropriate and different product that could do really well with the masses. It's clean, lighthearted, but still really good athletically. They could really use a boost in production and bigger venues. I'd give the money to them. I like the comic book type characters, the lucha style, and the comedy. It brings something different to the table.

As far as not purchasing dvds.....I think my ROH dvds would say differently.

How would JSWO know who purchases DVD's and who doesn't?
