It's true it's true. The NWA World Heavyweight title is red now and in my opinion looks really awesome.. You can check it out here! www.nwawrestling.com/I'm glad Brent Albright finally took the strap off Adam Pearce. Pearce was the worst wrestler imaginable to hold the belt and I was flabbergasted when he won the tournament for it because as in my eyes Brent Albright or Bryan Danielson should have won initially. Nonetheless, Albright finally captured the championship and things are going well over in NWA. |

I think Pearce was a brilliant NWA champ. However, after awhile, he just needed to lose the belt, and I'm glad Albright was the one to beat him. Hopefully we see the the belt around Pearce's waist in the near future. The new belt looks awesome, btw.

I wont "flame" you for not liking Pearce, but I think what you said was pretty ignorant.
Pearce is a fantastic wrestler and an effective old school heel. Hes exactly what the NWA title has been about for decades.
Pearce was a great champ and hopefully he wins it back at some point.

Not because I don't like his style because I love watching great heels like Flair and Henning. Pearce just bores the  out of me. |

I would have liked to see AmDrag win just to really start the NWA over again with a champion who really could have great matches with anyone and really sell to everyone. Where as with Pearce.. I don't know. I think Pearce did a great job though.

Not really "New". Guys like Brisco and Race used the red strap versions back in the day.
Still looks awesome, though.

It's more of an anniversary belt. They aren't going to use it for long. The only reason why they used it is because of the 60th Anniversary.

Cm, Claudio should just win everything ever. I agree. I'd settle for the NWA title going back under a rock, and (newly turned heel) Claudio Castagnoli bringing back the Pure Championship. I miss that title. |

Pearce was a very old school NWA champ. But personally, I cant stand the guy and dont see much of anything other than the fact that he minds me of some old school 70s wrestlers.

i wasn't huge on Pearce and always thought that he was boring in the ring....but after seeing that match with Albright this past Saturday, he changed my opinion alittle bit...
if he keeps putting on matches like that, then i'll be all for him
