While appearing specially on Keiji Muto's Samurai! TV talk show, Tanahashi heard "Satan's whisper" from his idol, who suggested Tanahashi move to All Japan or even head to WWE. Muto said he would even prepare an All Japan contract today, but Tanahashi refused and said he is sticking to New Japan's signboard. Tanahashi told the press that he plans to defeat AJ Styles, then challenge and win the TNA Heavyweight Title from Kurt Angle.
RISE announced the acquisition of its newest member - Low Ki! Low Ki, who resigned from TNA shortly after representing them on New Japan's 11/11 Sumo Hall show as Senshi, has been brought in by the injured Milano. He starts up on the next tour, for which more cards have been announced.
Hirooki Goto will go to war with Yuji Nagata in the latest feature match added to the very impressive 2/17 Sumo Hall card. Goto said he plans to open Nagata's eyes after Nagata said he had been burnt out by his titanic war with Kurt Angle. New Japan also announced that Nakamura will head to TNA shortly to confront Kurt Angle and build up their unification match. Goto also showed interest in going to TNA and launching a RISE invasion, similar to CTU's from a couple of years ago. Nakamura will wrestle on the 1/21 and 1/22 tapings in Florida.
